The victims were found at 12:15pm on Tuesday about three-quarters of a mile upstream from the bridge, police said. A volunteer searching for the girls found their bodies on private property about 50-60 feet from the water.
Their cause of death and nature of injuries were not released.

Not on camera as I recall but someone posted a scanned copy of the front page of the local paper when he took the plea deal (so the week before the sentencing) and I think the above quote about rides and such may have been from that. For sure there were one or two people who spoke as character witnesses. If I recall correctly, they didn't want to be identified or have their last names shared. There's probably others out there too but given how much RL has been threatened on SM, can't blame folks for not wanting to get on camera, can you?

I remember seeing it and I think it was linked to a court doc. We don't know details, anyway, but a medical condition could also be alcohol withdrawal. People can die from sudden withdrawal so I think all jails and prisons have infirmaries, hospitals or arrangements to transfer like Corcoran did recently with Charies Manson.

Yeah, medical care is definitely one of the rights prisoners have. Visiting doctors and staff nurses and such tend to be on hand in prisons. Sometimes health issues of a very severe nature or combined with old age will get people early release as well.

And very good point about the serious nature of alcohol withdrawals too. Beyond that there's also the many health issues long term drinking can cause, most notably cirrhosis of the liver.

Beyond the other examples listed in replies already, there *was* a neighbor interviewed early on. In one of the RL interviews shortly after the murders they speak to another elderly guy (grey hair, probably RLs age or a bit younger.). He is the one who mentioned how his daughter used to walk the trail and had seen some shady men or something to that extent. So there was that neighbor too, early on.

I have been mia for a while with easter and family gatherings. And today i have been following the horrific local cleveland shooting/possible shootings. Anything new over the weekend? I know its a pain when people ask all the time and sorry to be a burden. Any update would be greatly appreciated and thx in advance

That man, unidentified, said RL brought him to the crime scene to show him how difficult it would be to get there.

I don't think I've seen that one. There was another older guy who was right after RL in one of the video interviews. He's at his house and I'm almost positive he was a neighbor. I mentioned him a few minutes ago in a post reply- the one who mentioned his daughter used to hike the trails and had seen some shady (or scruffy? Something like that) guys a few times.

I know alcohol withdrawals can be bad, I'm not sure how long they can last though, or whether that's something his attorney would have chose to list as a physical illness. Also, I know there's his DUI's, but other than that I've not seen it mentioned or anyone say he for sure had been/still was an alcoholic or if he'd at least been drinking heavily enough prior to going to jail that he'd go into withdrawals.

Don't quote me on that. I'm not sure if it was mentioned (so hard to go look up past threads and such when posting from Tapatalk). But he was definitely at his house during the interview and I may be misremembering but I thought there was reference to him being a neighbor. Would have to find that clip again to be sure. Might have just jumped to the conclusion given he was at his house and interviewed right after RL.

IMO I don't believe it's a question of age, I believe it's a question of will to do so, adrenaline can make the weak a little stronger IMO. I don't personally believe BG is RL why? My personal take on the photos. Idk all IMO. But I feel like they would've just said so if it was but I could be​wrong.

I didn't get the feeling he was ill or unable to search really. Hard to say though. If he is a neighbor and was concerned and speaking to the media, doesn't seem too far of a stretch that he may have been part of the search. Who knows though.
