I started working on adding campgrounds and truck stops and rest areas around the area. You can toggle layers to avoid some of the chaos. I keep finding more as I think of more words to search and I just started on truck stops so there aren't many yet.

Sending my love and condolences to the families and friends of Abby & Libby. . .As much as we are all anxious to figure out this case, I know we all feel grief for this horrific loss of young lives. Unfortunately, I do have personal knowledge of what it feels like to lose a young loved one. My heart breaks for Abby, Libby, and their loved ones. Such a senseless, tragic loss.

Earlier discussion about the suspect wearing a watch, just noticed when I was using a tool to sharpen the photo, the spot on the wrist became very bright; like from a reflective surface (most noticeable when zoomed in - attached photo). I still don't get what's going on between his legs. Someone said it was camera artifact, but it almost looks like cloth wrapped around something and hanging down (which makes no sense, I know) ... and a dark horizontal line extending from the crouch to a black circle spot. It looks like maybe he's carrying a canteen on the left hip.

That's what I am tending to think, too. I wonder about PTSD, too, and the rage factor.

I am down to two thoughts on the loner bridge man. 1) Crime of opportunity and it was motivated by lust, or 2) He got really mad at them... even if it was displaced anger, venting against the innocent in place of the real cause of his anger.

I also wonder if he was homeless. That keeps floating around.

Hope the press conference tomorrow provides a better description of what happened and a better understanding of MO.

Are homeless people dangerous? I don't think I've ever really heard that people are at risk from homeless people before.

Well, I am not optimistic of an arrest anytime soon.

I certainly don't think that LE is going to make any big stunning announcement tomorrow.

I think this freak has escaped the dragnet, and there is not much we can do to help this case forward at this time.

I don't think there is a thing to be gained by analyzing the released photo anymore - though I do understand the fascination with every single detail - afterall - it's the picture of a heinous child murderer. If there is anything to be seen that might shed a clue etc. I've been down that road so many times. I always end up at a dead end, it seems.

Thinking of the poor people of Delphi. The girls loved ones and friends. The community. They will not be at peace until this is located.

His purely evil actions have devastated so many.

Here's hoping that LE gets the break they need. Tonight.

I feel like the white area that some think look like a plastic bag may be the collar of a white hoodie? In the right foot up photo it looks like the white comes up by his head, like it's the hood part.

Depends. There are a number of categories of "homeless". Many are mentally unstable. I see it a lot in the Bay Area of CA where I am. IMO this man is not homeless.

Not sure. There is also 2 sisters, think 14 and 17 that were missing in the state recently. I wonder, with serial killers, what is the usual time of re offending. It seems like if it is weekly then it might be alcohol or drug related??

I've wondered if this photo is after the crime.. wearing a disguise.

The perp is 32-38 years old. Works in a manual labor type position, but is not "skilled" as in a carpenter, electrician, mechanic. He has a goatee type facial hair growth and shaggy light brown/gray hair.

He is single but may have a girlfriend or live in partner, but not likely because he is not comfortable with intimacy. He may be borderline "mentally challenged".

His clothes are not indicative of anything other than that he is male. And probably lower to middle class, outdoorsy but not specific to sport.

As per LE, on the BOLO notice, the suspect is wearing BLUE JEANS. Not birder pants, or brush trousers..... BLUE JEANS. LE already said they were BLUE JEANS.

As per the photo, as bad as it is, he is wearing a camo ball cap, blue jacket with a tan tee or hoodie underneath. There is no magazine clip, handcuffs or glock. Odd, acute angles are likely due to pixelating from a low resolution photo or extreme zooming and cropping. It seems very unlikely that there is a lead pipe or other weapon in his pants leg.

I do not mean to be a jerk, but after reading along since the beginning, it is a bit WHAAAATTT? how farfetched some of these interpretations have become. It takes away from the many germane points put forth.

I get that it is really hard not to obsess on minutiae in the absence of evidence, but gah! The same stuff gets brought up post after post after post....even after clarification......and the speculation (which is TOTALLY what WS does- and it is an awesome thing!) has gotten so ridiculous, that it is almost pointless to reply or add to the conversation.

I do not mean to be a negative Nelly, and I apologize if I come off as such....it is just fatiguing to read for the hundredth time speculation that has already been clarified by MSM or LE or another WSer....


I feel sick for what Abbie and Libby must have endured and the very second I read they were missing, my mind went to Lyric and Lizzy.

IDK if they are connected, the similarities are striking. But this guy needs to be caught ASAP. Awesome work, y'all. Some super smart people from all disciplines contributing, here. I admire all your dedication and hard work! <3

Don't take offense. I misread your comment. The way it was worded made it seem like it was a true statement, not speculation. Wording can be tricky online.

That's what I believe. The images certainly didn't come from a trail camera. Image/Frame 2 of the suspect has been cropped by investigators, but if you adjust and overlay both pictures you can see that the camera has rotated between frames :

Not only does it rotate, the position/perspective changes as well, indicating movement towards the suspect. You can see it more clearly if you match cropping and cancel out the rotation :

Others have put forth the same theory, but my guess would be that Liberty German shot the the video and the second image is cropped because Abigail Williams was coming into frame on the left. I'd wager that German caught, at the least, the initial abduction. I cannot think of any other reason why investigators would not release even a snippet of the actual video beyond these two images.

It looks to me like he is wearing a brown hoodie and the hood is up. It's most noticeable in the 2nd gif.

My mind is now going to the missing 14 yr old female child missing, reported about 10 days before, 34 miles away in Kokomo. She too was in a park when last seen.
