But I couldn't hear a voice? Anyone else hear it? I do have hearing problems though.
The stills did come from the girls phones. There's more video but they can't show it. Lord only knows what else is on that video she was recording as it took place. Heartbreaking!!:tantrum: Poor babies! They were smart though to leave evidence behind with the phone.
Doesn't the FBI get called in immediately if it is concerning crossing state lines? Or were they asked to step in to the investgation for their knowledge, technology and support?

In order for her to video so clearly, the perp(s) had to have known Libby had her phone. Why didn't they take it?

I've said from the beginning I think it was thrown in the creek. Newer iPhones are waterproof and killer probably didn't know that. LE recovered it. JMO

So chilling. I'm scared to even think what else they have on audio. The speakers at the press conference were so emotional; can't imagine what everyone involved is going thru. My thoughts are with the families.

the audio is horrible. If they hadn't told us the words I never would have known that is what the voice said.

I get the impression that LE are indicating there were at least two perps. One in the image and a possible second on the audio.

The audio on the ISP site is very clear to me.

I found it interesting that the officer strongly suggested the perp knew the girls were there rather than it being a random meeting. There must be a whole lot on that video.

It made me think about what they said in the beginning to the effect of knowing what is going on in your kids lives. Possibly SM activity of meeting someone. Or it could be they may have a reason to believe it is someone who knows the area

I am just now hearing this my sister texted me. I want to scream and cry.

Can someone tell me WHY Libby did not call 911?? OMG...

If she had been taking photos, as we know she was, her camera was already on and it was only one button to push before shoving the phone in her pocket or something to hide it.

I get the impression that LE feel this was not random. It could be but they are leaning more heavily toward planned encounter on the part of the perp.

Was he stalking their SM? Was he someone they thought they knew (catfish)? Also very interesting that they made sure to emphasize that the man in the image may not be the owner of the voice in the audio they shared. A pair?

So clear now. Distinctive voice. Sounds a bit like Darryl from the walking dead (sorry, but it does). Gravelly. Like a smoker. It's chilling how low and calm he sounds. I think he had a weapon out and Abby by the arm.

I also think they can't confirm voice belongs to picture guy because Libby smartly shoved her phone in pocket as he corralled them down hill. Sounds like when someone butt dials me. The sound of the walking and noise is similar to the background in audio.

I hold to the belief that it wasn't that the girls arranged the meeting but that they simply put too much information out there publicly.
