Yesterday I saw a blue very old minivan IN plates in a seedy fly by night motel in SFL. Crazy as my mind went exactly to this case. Not saying it has anything to do with this but, I wouldn't be surprised if this person is hiding in plain sight in a well populated place where nobody has a clue about the case. For whatever that's worth.

In my opinion this guy looks like BG, although he looks younger, his robbery pic from the bank looks similar to what BG was wearing. If he layered up he could easily looker bigger. He was also caught with someone else's related to meth possession.

Would you say it is normal for LE to neither confirm nor deny SA and if so,why? I don't see the hold back in LE answering that question.Just trying to get a read on exactly why LE doesn't reveal anything.I'm no big sleuther but it seems there's a difference between holding info close to the vest as they like to say,and holding it so close that what info they do have becomes useless to them.

Could be for respect for the family or to protect the details to prevent time wasting on idiots who may confess falsely. Could be no SA, could be rape of one or the other or both, could be more than one DNA on the bodies. The details will be known only by LE and the perp(s) and they want to keep it confidential for these reasons, I think. Is it normal ? Yes, I think it is. The detail often will not come out till trial. If the perp pleads guilty the detail may not be publicised at all IMO.

I always wondered why billboards were placed at varying spots.... and so early on.

It would seem that it was known early on that this person was a transient....

and had possibly.... witness id...from bridge area... from the interstate. ..seen him and composites matched.

Would that be correct?

Often times when we suspect SA, there are LE that specifically deny SA until a perp is charged. We are then surprised by the warrant or the charges that let us know specifically that SA occurred. I would not be surprised at all of SA occurred; the public doesn't need that information to name a suspect when they have a video and a composite sketch. IMVHO

Oh, my. This was unexpected. Two young girls are abducted and murdered, possibly by more than one perp, but you do not think SA was involved even though your theory includes the girls being Taken away and returned later. So, what was the purpose? The thrill of a killing? BG, or the killers, could have attacked most anyone in any given way that day but two young girls were chosen although not for a sexual motive?

It does happen. For some it is just about the kill, nothing more.

There is a recent (in last two weeks) case out of Kenosha, WI (Olivia Mackay, on the located board) where Olivia was set up to meet a person by an intermediary - it gives the impression of a "date". The three of them went to a beach area and the one guy stood around while the other strangled her for 5 minutes while standing and then held her head under the water for another 5 minutes. Oddly, when it came time to take Olivia out of there the guy who killed her just so happened to have garbage bags in his backpack to put her body in - one up from the feet and another down from the head - before putting her in the trunk. It appears, at least to me, that the killer was motivated (and prepared) just to kill.

I dunno about social media,but the "real" press done a bang up job of starting out every article headline with tip in delphi homicide leads to arrest...or some other delphi headline.Exactly what I posted the other day about the reason for lack of coverage is the media needs something to dig their teeth into instead of just showing up at pressers and getting the silent treatment.When the public can't get the news...they'll make it up as they go along.Been that way forever.

My thought was he did something peculiar with the bodies that matched closely another case that was far away... so it was assumed to be a serial killer that roamed from place to place. The other thought was that Delphi was such a small town that it was known really quickly that the guy was not from there and therefore they should look elsewhere

Both died on the same date according to the sealed coronors report.
