Ugh it'll be 6 months in 3 days...

So, what are the chances he has killed in the last 6 months since the girls? Different killers take different times for cooling off periods...has he been lying low and inactive? If so, is he "itching"? If he's trying to stay low how long can he control himself? Cooling off period could be days, years..Foxfire bud wish you were here to talk about this specifically (going to search through old Ff posts for any possibe insight on cooling off periods. How patient of a predator is he?

Using murder data / any child homicides nationwide we don't know of, I would think in this day and age the media picks up every one? Even if we had this info (child homicide nationwide data for the past 6 months), for all we know his next victim has not or will not be a child...

(Thinking aloud)

Shot in the dark...what about Kaitlyn Cargill...chances are probably slim but just putting it out there.

OK my thought of the day, possibly lives in a "hunting cabin" somewhere.

Might be interesting to see a map image of all the deer hunting areas in the state of Indiana.

Do hunting and fishing licenses require a photo? (If he even deer hunts legally)

What about if we try to find certain hunting areas, and zoom in them street view looking for possible hunting cabins, remote abandoned cabins/trailers? (Talk about a shot in the dark needle in a haystack)...I would think he's gotten the heck out of Indiana though (or maybe not), assuming he even lives there and not a traveling trucker...

So all truckers need to pass license and weight checkpoints, etc, I know we discussed some of this previously...LE has the resources to check all this, nothing has come to fruition, obviously.

What's most frustrating and challenging I think here as a sleuth is not knowing what LE has and has not already done....surely they've thought of everything we've thought of, but what if they havent? We don't know if they read here though it's likely...they are trained professionals, do they even need our ideas? I think they just want a sighting and an ID from us, that's it.

Talking out loud again.

Feeling quite bummed and discouraged today; tensions are obviously high.

Yesterday I must've seen 5 people who could have been BG...did I call anyone in? No, because I feel like it's just my mind going crazy...I wonder if anyone else has had this same experience, and as a result of someone doubting oneself, the tip is not called in, when it really could be him.

Looking at people and having these thoughts everyday (BG?) is definitely starting to take its toll on me mentally. Additionally, it brings up old bad memories of when Jessica Ridgeway's killer was on the loose, PTSD to be exact. I want to take a break for my own health, but still find myself here every day and every night.

Just venting, thanks for listening.

ETA: I decided it's not productive to doubt myself..."no tip too small"...

Please take time out for the sake of your mental health and do something you enjoy even for a little while. I suffer from depression and the tragedies here can make you feel even more down so I take a break and go to the park, cinema or a concert and I feel better for it.

Ugh it'll be 6 months in 3 days...

I know it is hard to believe. The monster will get caught law enforcement are going to pursue him relentlessly and we will help in any way possible.

Great advice, you have hit the nail on the head. Thank you Gregjrichards!

Yes. That is something that is possible but not as easily discoverable as the ones that have a friend or relative stop by every few days or so to check on a property, pick up mail, etc.

If I recall that case you mention is in the Canton, OH area. I think there might be a thread for that here.
Yes there are two threads. The murders were in separate counties in Ohio. It made me think of the homesitter angle.

So where did he dump his evidence?

I really think you might have something with the cemetery...seems like the killer would think it clever to park there.

Or killed in the prior 6 months, 9 months, or a year.

Ah yes, visitors. We do know who you some of you are and that you are here to copy and paste comments from members here to another site in an effort to mock and ridicule comments.
I would call them stalkers. How strange to follow members and copy and paste comments from WS to other forums. Why not sign up and comment right on here? We don't bite.

They had to adjust for the the puppy, the gun, the rope, the fanny pack, the kill kit...

Little doubt imo he had all of these, minus the puppy.

I don't follow your comment here margarita. What evidence?
Ah. I think you just answered it. Did you mean his rope/knife/clothes/kill kit/bum bag/footprints? Dna? Phone? Gun? Etc.

Cyberbullies. They've already posted the comment I made above.

Qmfr:
So where did he dump his evidence?

Maybe something new will wash up someday or be found in/near the river. While we know it was combed/grid searched ( how many times? When was the last time? )this should be done periodically imo as stuff shifts/travels, gets lodged, dislodged, buried, unburied...maybe he tossed something way upstream or downstream...
