so they saw him with someone so then he was following them and then they said on the phone who is that weird guy ?or what ever they said and then he marched them down the hill and killed them, Abby put up a fight but he did not rape these girls?

it doesn't seem to match the evidence. the girls were assaulted and this was a sex crime one hundred percent, the killer was on his way to get those girls and he went there to find them. I believe he lured them, they were expecting a cute teenage boy from another school, I think he picked the venue and knew 100% they would be there.

look at how he is walking, look at his jacket, the cops know how it all went down...and they are warning parents. this guy is a ghost.

moo baby, moo
I am curious what evidence are you thinking of? Is it evidence that they were raped? I must have missed that.

Who went to pick up the girls? I saw some initials here the other day but don't remember what they are. And, if a full name is allowed, please tell me that. Thanks.
We now know it was L's father Derrick.

Is anyone able to identify what area of the woods these dogs are emerging from? Maybe the dogs were brought to the wrong area. I wonder how long they had the dogs out there, too.

My post 867 meant to reply to this question. Sorry I replied to the wrong one. See 867 post is my guess where i think the photo was taken of the dogs.

For those of you wondering how the K9s missed the remains during the search, here is my *theory* and *speculation*. This Perp is no novice. This is not his first kill. He is carefully studied, and had an exacting plan. He specifically had the girls cross the creek because he knew the dogs would lose the scent. He is a hunter, because he knows how dogs lose the scent. Not very tech saavy though.
Yes good point Roses. Also, as I understand, there are tracker dogs and cadaver dogs so I presume these were the former as the girls had already been found at 12.15. I am assuming the tracking dogs could determine how the girls got there and how BG left the scene.

YES! I also don't think they intentionally captured his image. I'm always afraid to post my true feelings here. I don't handle getting chewed up and spit out very well. I get enough flack just by being a JLWOP opponent. Thank you for posting this.
Sorry for being dense but what is a JLWOP opponent?

There is information on the scanner thread about this but I can't discuss it here .
Maybe that is what I am recalling. Is there a link to the scanner thread on page 1?

One different theory I have entertained and not shared much because this one is a little out there.

I have always wondered if BG was down below the bridge waiting for someone to pass above. And once they did he may have crawled up the tressles to get on top of the bridge and come in right behind them.

I dont think its that hard to climb solid tressles on a bridge like that for someone in fairly good shape.

One reason I havent brought this theory up much is I dont think it matters a whole lot. Because even if he did that I am not sure it helps the case one way or another. I guess it could prove his intent was waiting for an ambush. I do hope LE searched closely under that bridge for any evidence he may have dropped.

He doesn't look nimble enough to be a tressle climber , IMO. In addition, if he were hiding things under his coat it would have been difficult to hold on to them. He looks too chunky to be a ninja to me. But who knows.

sorry, I mean the idea that they saw him with someone prior to being killed, that they saw him with drugs etc does not show in the evidence, because if they saw him prior to the video then they would have known he was the guy they just saw with someone or doing something bad, so the evidence doesn't support this theory, also if libby fought her attacker, then evidence does not support the theory that he didn't touch the girls,

witnesses to crimes are more often killed in movies then in real life, there is no evidence supporting a meth lab or anything like that. Druggies are interested in getting high...now if the girls tried to steal someones drugs, that would be something else.

the fact is he did not have to kill these girls, he killed them because he wanted to, plain and simple.

this a serial killer and all the evidence supports that, including the warnings from police to parents of teenagers.

Well if that happened that would be guaranteed to creep the girls out and prompt them to film and record, selfie or otherwise, I would think.

Minazoe: Agree with your assessment 100%.

A big MOO from me, but does anyone else start to see what is actually happening here? Brazenly violent crime in broad daylight, phone left at the scene, both video and audio evidence, startlingly clear photo-fit in a very small town, known drug connection, not a single person coming forward .... Surely it is clear this is some sort of payback and everyone in the know is scared <modsnip>??

Yes and that poor puppy would have fallen out.

What sort of payback? Revenge, jealousy, debts, silencing witnesses to something? Are you suggesting a professional hit and not a serial killer or sexual motive involved?

RBBM

In one of the first press conferences, LE states (to the effect) 'that Liberty was a hero for having the sense to begin recording on her phone the criminal activity which was about to occur.' I'm pretty sure this is where most people here got that idea. I think it's the one where they released the audio clip.
JMO.

And might LE have said Libby was a hero to begin recording because LE has that very recording... where they can hear the girls talking together and may have heard them plan to record BG?
(maybe it wasn't all just typical girl talk)
I think that's possible. Paraphrasing; the sheriff also said in his latest interview that the girls were concerned about this man they thought (or may have thought) was following them. If true, it's possible they were already concerned about BG following them before they ever got on the bridge.
Did the girls go down to the end of the bridge to try and give the creepy guy the slip... "get rid of him" and he'd eventually leave the park. Maybe that was part of his plan... abduction stage I... isolate the girls.
That is why I think, when the girls saw BG approaching them on the bridge they went into high alert and the recording was planned. I don't think his approach was their first sighting of him. Every rational creates another set of questions when there is a lack of information!
ALL speculation and JMO :moo:

I've followed from the beginning but don't recall seeing anything about drugs or a drug connection reported by MSM nor mentioned by LE. Apologies if I missed it, would you have a link regarding the known drug connection that you can share?

No one said it was a sexual assault either.

We are speculating the guy was maybe dealing drugs and maybe they saw him.
maybe he was selling guns.
maybe they look at him funny.

Could be many thing...
We are just covering them all.

All jmo
