The similarities are amazing, but as weird as this sounds, I just can't see that audio recording matching this guy. The voice sounds a lot deeper and older than what I would imagine DN sounds like.

I'm excited...

Now that we know a hatchet is involved, go back and look at the original pics. Could what we all thought was a gun, really be a hatchet in his jacket? I don't think that's out of the question, especially if there's a sheath.

Supporting this would be the fact that the police recovered what I believe is a .22 caliber rifle. They didn't say anything about a handgun being recovered.

I also wanted to mention one other thing, and I know how WS feels about psychics, which quite frankly, I'm in total agreement. So, modsnip the heck out of this as necessary.

<modsnip>

All MOO.

It would have to be relatively possible for this to be the guy for MSM to be reporting on it, right? I mean do they open themselves up to lawsuits or the like by connecting someone to such a heinous crime if in fact that person hasn't done it? Or is that just hopeful thinking on my part?

I am guilty of wishful thinking myself, however the word "definitively" used by LE leads me to believe they might think they have something here. I suspect that the conditions the bodies were found was unusual and very similar leading LE to make a connection however they will need solid evidence before they make an announcement, JMO of course.

Sorry I'm posting quite a bit but wanted to say one more thing. If this is our BG, I will be surprised in the sense that I had anticipated the killer being a bit of a genius, able to disappear so easily and not be caught, even with all of the evidence collected. I imagined him cold, calculated. From the little I can tell from his FB etc, I don't get the sense that DN matches that profile. And so that's something that surprises me. If it is him, then he truly was just very lucky, IMO. Lucky, messy, unplanned.

This has now made local Indiana news, our meteorologist, who is from Delphi, shared one of the stories saying he hoped this was a break to finally have this case solved. When I saw him post on fb, I came straight here to see but looks like ya'll are ahead of the curve. I haven't checked in here for ages.

Hope we get some concrete info soon!

But remember, he was a marine, although I'm sure they aren't claiming him. None the less, he got some excellent training that he unfortunately applied to nefarious use. (Allegedly/potentially)

I didn't see a hat -- where was it? I''d like to see what you are seeing.

On the man in the photo driving a red car.

I see why the bond was reduced though. He could come up with the 2k/$200 and bond out of teller, but he is now facing charges in El Paso county I am sure. So he'd be sent here.

This HAS to be a concern for LE. He could quickly disappear in a state like Colorado. Jmoo
