So he had 4 layers on. He may have been waiting a while for them, hence cold. Mike Patty states in the Dr. Phil interview that the witness saw BG "leaving the area around that time of day."

Technically the liner is part of the jacket, you could consider it a layer.

It is and was a gamble to murder these girls in daylight. This man is naturally calm, he did not have to kill previously to be this methodical. He is a person that can control anger very well. A normal person probably wouldn't even know if he/she had made him mad in any way. Do I think he staked the girls?. Yes, but not in the traditional sense of what we perceive as "stalking". He always made sure he was in the same vicinity as the girls, but manipulated the situation to where they ran into him unexpectedly if that makes sense.

Why??? Thrill/dominance? Hit? Hush?

Absolutely, I have commented on this several times. He purposely put himself in a position to run into the girl's without the accompaniment of adults, and that place is the trails. I'm saying the girl's had prior run ins with him on the trails and had conversations with him in passing. Even a hello or how are you, can make a person feel at ease or comfortable around you if you do it enough times.

Do you have any sources for your info or is it just your opinion. What evidence makes you think the girls had run into BG on the trails previously?

I don't remember the exact wording but it indicated A&L talked about the man following them, more than just "a man".

This is what I found, posted earlier. Is it possible discussion of "the man" led toward speculation of some sort of "strange" behaviour, then later "strange" morphed into that he was "a stranger"?

I wasn't aware there was discussion about a "strange man"? Was there a different report than this one?

Experience in profiling...It would of been to obvious even to the girls if he would of just kept popping up in back of them or following them at a distance. They were naive, not dumb.

I've looked as well and came up with nothing. I cannot find anywhere where LE refers to BG other than "a man". Neither have LE made statements to exclude local tips from any persons who might have been known to the girls.

IMO it's quite common in unsolved cases for opinions to sometimes morph into facts. I think the source of "a strange man" began here with DN. Because it was not there when RL was under the internet scope.

Not saying I'm right but making a false assumption the perp has never had local connections takes the case down a different path which might be far from the truth. So I'm interested in the outcome of searching for the "stranger" information source as well.

About the "Down the hill" recording. If you slow it down and listen to the very last sound made, it is of something metallic. You can hear the grass/weeds rustling and possibly a slight breeze, but at the second the recording stops there is what sounds like a sharp metallic ping or snap. I'm still studying this as we speak, so to speak

Thank you. Dang, but that article is before LE made the comment I'm remembering. I really think it was a video. I seem to remember the officer in a blue uniform standing at a podium making the comment, when they talked about having more video.

Thanks. When LE released the bit about "girl talk" that changed my opinion somewhat. What I don't think is known is the sequence of events between the Snapchat of Abby, the video of BG and the girl talk, although we do know the "down the hill" recording was believed to have taken place just before a criminal act occurred but I think it's mostly been speculated to be this
1. Snapchat
2. Video
3. Girl Talk
4. Down the hill

Maybe the "girl talk" was prior to the video that Libby took of BG?

Maybe, one (LE) should ask witnesses, who was seen by them on the trail/bridge on Friday before the murder when Abby/Libby were in this area too AFAIK?
