I too speculated about mobile pot labs but most posters called my suggestions ridiculous. But I had nothing to quote. That's why I posted that link I found today. I was shocked at the cases on there.

this should of been brought up long ago specific to the this case it would give a better perspective of the high bridge and possibly look in a different direction for a motive imo

It has been but the speculation was not well-received by many. Some found it ridiculous to even speculate that a person might kill 2 girls over any drug connection... such as seeing something they shouldn't, etc.

Our local member Falling Down took a trip to the bridge area and posted very insightful information.

It too, barely got a response.

IMO locals are the best source of information. Especially in rural regions.

There are many clues to be discovered if only people would find time to look away from DN.

I'm really curious as to DN being ruled out???Can you share where it says that DN was dropped as a potential suspect ? Because as of December 13, he was still a person of interest , although one of many, according to Indiana State Police. TIA
He hasn't been ruled out as a suspect - he hasn't been elevated to a suspect is possibly what Boxer means I.e.still only a POI.

Hi BOP, was that the guy who went to the bridge with his wife and took all the photos and measurements? The one I'm remembering was ex-military. IIRC, he estimated BG at about 5' 10". He provided great input but didn't stick around long.

Lana Crowe-

As a local, I'd like to hear your opinion of how you think the girls ended up on RL's property.

Do you think they crossed the frigid waters?

Do you have an opinion on how the suspect came and left from the bridge?

Do you think there were two suspects?

Please don't name anyone but only describe your own opinion of the terrain, et.

We have been most fortunate to have locals such as member mtnlites who has been to the bridge and described the area and tried to explain to members why the girls would need a ride to the bridge as opposed to walking there.

I'd like to hear your take as well if you don't mind.

No that was someone else who I believe is either a former member or hasn't posted since.

Falling down is also ex Marine though.

After watching the GH video of the drive to the bridge, I don't believe the bridge is a likely spot for an out of town perp to be fishing for victims. I do believe it's a drug scoring and using hot spot. IMO. I am in NO way implying that the girls were there for that reason. This brings a very questionable population to the area. Why no cameras???

Daae, that's exactly what the locals have been saying for months.

It's not a place one stumbles upon.

i would think first hand knowledge and personal experiences with the high bridge such as myself and others on here would spark interest. maybe its a form of denial heck i dont get it lol. the names i posted were of direct association with the"bob" and the estranged father. all available to the public legally.

Also I don't want to exclude #1nana - (not sure that name is accurate, been awhile)

Waay back she posted pictures she took while at the bridge which are also helpful.
Those pictures may be in the media thread though I'm not positive.

Falling Down's insights were great. In fact, I thought his post was every bit as good and informative as the Gray Hughes' video. I've posted 4 times about the route they would've taken to the park, explaining why they would've needed a ride as opposed to walking, but I guess the video made more sense. I've also been posting firsthand information about the general area and the park and I've had posters who have never been there argue with me, telling me I am wrong, preferring instead to post a link (written by someone else who has never been there) to more or less put me in my place. It's frustrating, for sure.

One of the main issues with discussing this case is that there is a ton of 2D information out there: photos, maps, routefinders, etc. It's easy to look at these things and draw conclusions that sound like they should make sense, ie. "they should've been able to walk there because it's not that far", or "They were less than a mile from home so they should've been able to make a run for it!" The reality of the situation, however, can't always easily be summed up from these sources. There are things in "real life" that make things more difficult: fences that don't show up on maps, inclines and ridges that are far steeper than they appear in photos, etc. (Not to mention the fact that, even though the park's not that big, it's still easy enough to get turned around in it and lose your sense of direction, especially if you're panicked and scared.I got off the trail to go to the bathroom once and wound up wandering in circle for 5 minutes and STILL came out about 100 feet from where I thought I would.)

anyway i gave up trying to load thoes pics they were taken in 2011-12 from the "bob" bottom of bridge. there are 5 people underneath the first support pillar and you can only see my sister because she is wearing a bright pink hoodie. the rest of the dirt balls are are wearing darker clothing and cant be seen at all and are within 15ft of my sister. its nonsense to think you could hear or see anybody under there just by simply strolling along. remember they are there for the purpose of not being seen they for sure wouldnt be having a karaoke party lol imo.

If you took a picture down there I'd love to see it.

Try again, LOL

O/T

Just a heads up, it isn't that complicated to post a pic. Even "Quick Reply" has that option. Just click the "picture frame" icon, 2nd to the left of the "quote" icon. It guides you thru the process from there. Good luck.

If I remember correctly, new members do not have the option to post pictures. You have to make a certain number of posts before you get that option.

IMHO DN’s voice was a very good match -
I found some words in his call that rhymed “Still” for “Hill” and “down” for “ down.”
Absolutely could be him.
But - DN was dropped as a potential suspect after LE went to CO, because evidence they sought to include him with (I assume DNA) did not match.

We absolutely do not know DN was dropped as a suspect. In fact we DO KNOW he could not be excluded. <modsnip>
