The reverse mortgage allows RL to stay in his home until he vacates it. For most people, this is until they go to a nursing home or die. Since he was in jail, I suspect the company is arguing the property had been vacated and the outstanding loan balance is due. If not paid, they will take possession of the property. I still think LE made a mistake going after him and in such a public way. And announcing they would go after others they encountered that had warrants.

Thanks.

The "Notice of Exclusion of Confidential Information" is something I've never encountered. I'm wondering what kind of confidential info RMF wants excluded.

BBM

That still irks me. Over the years I've seen LE ignore crimes in order to get the more violent criminal, but not this time. Bad move, imho.

it was a scare tactic used on RL .. overcharged and oversentenced..
and resulted in 0

Thinking about DN and KN, why did they choose that specific location in CO and how did they know about it?

If DN is BG, how did he happen upon the Monan Bridge? How did he know about this area?
DN's brother was a Colorado Springs resident and was killed there earlier in the year. DN and KN went because of that, KN said. The day DN's killer was sentenced, TW was killed on the trail.
Re. Delphi and the Monon Bridge would be a known area to RSO's because of the employment possibilities at IP. IP provide transportation according to their website comments.

Right. But who knows how many tips weren't called in because of the threats.

I've checked rich van wyk and Alexis Mcadams twitter feeds and nothing.

This is what is showing for RL's docket for today. The "INCARCERATED" threw me at first, but given the time stamp was 8:30 a.m. this morning maybe it's not relevant.

Yes, that I do recall...wondering if there was something further to bring them to that exact spot up there on Mt. Herman.

An add-on to my post above (having trouble w/edit). I think it's just the wording they used, IOW they noted he had to be transported from New Castle to the hearing. This is a different case #, worded a bit differently:

Exactly.

When they were quoted in a news interview that they were going to continue to lock up tipsters if need be, I could not believe what I was hearing.

They should not have mixed the two things and they should not have publicly announced they would continue to lock up tipsters if they have warrants.

A much better way to handle it would be to encourage anyone and everyone to call in tips and to use an anonymous tip line if they want to stay anonymous.

Its actually pretty common that someone that may have a good tip could be associating with criminal deeds so you dont want to shut off that resource. They pretty much told that group that if they give them a good tip that they will lock them up as a thank you.

Beautiful spot to camp -Pikes Peak area- Front Range- they were camping all around that area - probably plenty of public toilet facilities. DN got a ticket for parking in a state park in Plainfield so it is likely something he had often done. Columbus had a state park too and a trail.

Is the bridge area easy to find or is it tucked away that only true locals know exactly how to get there?

The impression I got from locals, as well as those who went to the location, was that it is tucked away...

RL is being released. He will spend the last 2 months on house arrest. I don't have a link for this that doesn't violate WS terms so, if it helps, count this as a IMO post. Could be that the dozen or so people who were live posting and sharing news from the courthouse today were wrong, but this is also what I was told by a family member who was at the courthouse today as well.

I think there may have been some confusion regarding his sentences or may they modified it today?

He had 2 sentences to complete after he broke his probation.

could that have been a "political" statement?
one of the liberal arguments for sanctuary cities is illegals won't report crimes for fear of deportation.
I haven't read back to see exactly what you were commenting on but this was my 1st thought.

I don't know but if someone is wanted by LE, couldn't they make a tip anonymously? I can't fault in LE for arresting anyone whom they have just cause.

This article talks about some of the unrelated arrests made as a result of search warrants. It a glimpse into the character of some of tips that LE has to work with.

".......Investigators with Indiana State Police said this isn't the first time they've solved unrelated cases thanks to tips on the Delphi line. In fact, they've solved between 20-25 separate cases.

"When we go interview them, we go to their house. They’ve got stolen articles in their house or they’ve got, unfortunately, we’ve found meth labs in homes. We’ve found drugs laying on tables. Warrants have been served, because when we go to do the background on that person, we find that persons wanted on another case," said ISP Sgt. Kim Riley.

In the Cass County case, court records state the "tip referred to Sellers as having killed his uncle some years before and had gotten away with it." Sgt. Riley said it's common to get tips from people commenting on a potential suspects criminal background......"

Every time I check the posts it is about DN 'ad nauseum':gaah: in my opinion, and respectfully said, it would be refreshing to discuss something/someone other than DN. Myself and others have tried several times but the conversation keeps going right back to DN. Think about the waste of time this could very well be. :moo:
