Is this the prisoner's perception or knowledge of the mask/scarf? I will go with perception but a very good one. IMO BG was wearing some sort of cover on his face on the north side of the bridge and with crossing the bridge in a hurry and feeling confident that he would not meet anyone else coming from the SE end he had no concerns.

If in fact that is a lock blade knife with a pocket clip on his left hip I would lean even more now saying that BG is left handed. IMO subduing AW at knife point would be enough to sway LG to go along. Even IF BG gave LG proof that he was very serious and in cutting AW would have put both those young girls in immediate shock.

This drawing alone shows no inside knowledge of the crime. First thing I would like to know is WHY did he send it to the journalist? He wants something, inmates always want something. And yes what is the history behind this BP behind bars?

The journalist, in a later post on that twitter account, states that the inmate had written on the back. However he does not say what exactly was written on the back. I am presuming he passed this all on to LE but don't know for sure.
BP IP got probation in May 2017. I'm not sure if he was actually in prison or out on bail between May 2016 and May 2017. (That is something that could be sleuthed imo). He obviously must have lost his job at IP once he was arrested shortly after the May 2016 incident. His voice was matched to that of the hoaxer, that is how he came to be arrested.

And is it possible someone went to visit him (if in fact he was there) and was able to mail the sketch through the prison mail system?

Was this sketch sent before or after the still pic and voice of BG was released?

After I believe. Voice came out on 22nd I think.
To clarify the sketch was sent to the reporter on 3 Mar but is dated 2/24/17.
This indicates to me that it was sent or given to the inmate perhaps?

The sketch with the scarf is disturbing and terrifying. My heart breaks all over again for Abby and Libby.

I’m back to my original thought. BG was at the trails on February 13 with one thing in mind - finding a female victim. Whether the motive was kidnapping, SA or murder, he was there for a victim.

Totally missed that. So sleuthing BP is OK, but is posting about what you determined from said sleuthing OK? That would go directly against TOS, and makes it very difficult to navigate this forum. Why this guy and not the other 100s of guys brought up in SM? I assume you provided reasons to Tricia when you made the request. Could you share those reasons with us? Why is BP more of a potential POI then everyone else? TIA

These are the bomb hoax case details showing probation violation and issue of warrant in Sept 2017. Initial trial was set for 13 Feb 2017 then cancelled . It was later plea bargained and probation given. In between those dates was a FTA so I think he must have been out on bail.

To me, the sketch looks like the guy is either pulling the front of his hoodie up over his face or is wearing one of those cap/masks that hunters often wear to keep their head and face warm. I think the artist is trying to draw wrinkles in the fabric rather than a PPE or breathing apparatus. The reason I lean toward it being a hunter's face mask is it looks like it is bunched up on the back of the neck. Just what I am seeing when I look at it.

IMO the artist didn’t have to try to draw anything. Whoever it is, is a really good artist.

Case details for BP IP Tippecanoe charges. Jury trial 23 Jan canceled reset for Feb with a CaCo hold on him for the bomb hoax probation violation. I do think he seems to be a pain in the butt rather than a violent offender.

You realize he and 6 others were arrested in Sept 2017 for dealing meth also? that may have been the warrant you are looking at.
