Im very confused with the past way LE have told us they have not really excluded or included anyone. That tells us nothing really.

I may have this wrong but I am just very confused because the public has provided thousands of tips and they basically have said in the past they cannot eliminate anyone. That does not make any sense to me.
The goal should be to pare down the list of potential people that could have done this.

Couldnt or shouldnt they at least tell us that they have eliminated DN and RL since they looked at them and have not arrested either for this crime.
Or is it they just dont have a good DNA sample at the crime scene and cant use DNA to solve the crime. Maybe that is the problem they have.

All I know is i am confused by their past announcements and I hope they are clearer this time. They need to be very clear.

The public has provided thousands of tips and its possible one or more of the tips has shown the right perp. So if they cannot solve the case then what more can the public give them that they have not already received.

I totally agree with you but I think the mind meld will be perpetuated thanks to local tv this morning. DN's pic/info is being plastered on each segment they're doing on Libby and Abby. Even though they say POI, I'm pretty sure it will only make things worse.

Are they still calling him a POI on tv?
I wonder if they have had a hint of what is going to be announced. Do leaks happen sometimes?
If they confirmed someone as a suspect do they have to charge that person or can they say it for the purpose of asking for more tips?

I know law enforcement are not obligated to give us any information but I really hope they clarify what the situation is with DN. If people wrongly believe that he is responsible then it will prevent people phoning in tips. They cannot have it both ways.

This link shows details of DN and KN's eviction a month before the murders. Then they went to the Royal Inn, just an hours drive from Delphi. Has anyone been able to look at Morgan County RSO details to see if it listed a work address for DN ? Or is the Royal in Marion ?

She didn't know though did she? Once someone is already a POI and in jail the reward surely wouldn't be available. If someone knows and doesn't tell LE, they would be complicit possibly. :moo:

who is to say she won't ..she may be utterly terrified of him..If I saw my husband go after someone with a hatchet, if he broke my nose, if he threatened our children..

i would weigh very carefully in her position, knowing if the case wasn't good enough he could come after me..

but even more..if she helped or contributed to this crime in someway that it would not be eligible for immunity..if she was threatened and told that if she rats on him he will rat on her..

there could definitely a good reason not grab the cash. MOO

February 2018:


Police initially called Nations a person of interest, but at the start of the new year told FOX59 they were not actively pursuing him as a lead.

The case remains unsolved, but officials in charge of the investigation say it is anything but "cold." They're confident that someone out there has the information needed to connect the dots and solve the case.

I'm very curious why the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Of all the states to choose from for assistance, why that one? The choice was not random. I thought maybe they're well known for investigative techniques, specialized training or something along those lines that assist out of state LE agencies. However statements on their website use terms like "assist state and local law enforcement", so primarily referencing services and assistance with the state of GA. That made me wonder if there is a crime in GA that LE is comparing notes on.

I found a list of unsolved homicides in GA on the GBI's web site. I was specifically looking for young females. There is an unsolved case of a 16 yr old girl, Hannah Truelove of Gainesville, GA. Gainesville is in the far NE corner of GA, about 70 miles from both the SC border and the NC border. "Hannah was reported missing on August 23, 2012 and was discovered murdered in a wooded area behind the Lake Lanier Club Apartments on August 24, 2012."

When Foxfire was contributing.. he spoke about going to once a year forums for law enforcement that would share cases with each other. Perhaps there was an annual case sharing, and gbi was one of them that took it upon themselves to assist? They could have just been mentioning one that they are getting assistance from? :dunno:

Apologies if this has been posted. I just noticed on DN's IN docket that they moved his charges from Greenwood City Court to Johnson Superior Court 3 effective yesterday. This case is for the Driving While Suspended + Possession of Paraphernalia charges of 4/25/17. Johnson Superior Court 3 is where his Felony for FTR will be tried.
