Indiana Packers Corp. Builds New Cold Storage Distribution Center
Dec 7th 2016
https://indianapackerscorp.com/comp...na-packers-corp-builds-new-cold-storage-distr

"DELPHI, Ind.—Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) the makers of INDIANA KITCHEN® branded pork products, working closely with the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), announces the construction of an 99,000-square-foot cold storage distribution center, alongside its existing pork-production plant in Delphi, Indiana.

Without question, this expansion is a major milestone in our company’s growth strategy,” says Russ Yearwood, President and Chief Operating Officer of Indiana Packers Corporation. “The expansion allows us to improve inventory logistics, speed up our delivery capacity, and most importantly, better serve our growing regional and global customer base.” The project is expected to be completed by August 2017.

Key to the project are several infrastructure improvements, including a traffic study and roadway reconstruction, enabling Indiana Packers Corporation to optimize its existing property."

Hmmm..."roadway construction"....

Idk...I feel like his connection to that area is deeper, but maybe not...IK chose places completely not connected to him for obvious reasons.

I think the answer possibly lies in deer hunting, moo.

So this would mean a lot of construction workers at the new plant in the first half of 2017.

I couldn't agree more. The internet fulfills a spectrum of greatness and unspeakable evil. The TOR Network has allowed criminals to go undetected.
Sick men with money can now have their evil fantasies come true. What better place to commit such a crime than somewhere with a small police force. We have to consider with technology, anything is possible. Even a smart little girl catching a video and voice of an insane maniac.

TOR is just the tip of the iceberg, VPN's and other methods can be used to use the web without being tracked. Someone could sit at a fast food place or anywhere else with open WiFi and not only use it for nefarious reasons, but copy or wrife down the IP address ans use it. Or an IP from overseas or wherever.

It's not a sophisticated deal, either, anyone who can follow simple instructions can surf the web anonymously, and in some cases it would be difficult for LE to find people using the web for criminal activity, hacking, etc.

Since we've come back to truck drivers again, at least temporarily, I thought I'd mention something I've been thinking about. I don't remember the exact numbers, so I'm just using mine as an example. When driving over the road, you can only drive for about 16 hours (with breaks, but on duty for a number of hours), and must be off duty for at least 8 consecutive hours. If a driver knows where he'll be loading toward the end of his on duty time, he can do a search (Google Earth or something similar) for a likely place to find a victim and get in and out without being easily seen. If there is something within walking distance of his loading dock, and a truck stop close by, he could just follow directions he has already written out, check for possible victims and leave if there aren't any there.

If there is someone there, he can carry out his plans, remove his jacket and hat, walk back to his truck, wait for the loading/unloading to be completed and head to the truck stop for a shower, shave and different clothes. This would be especially easy if the COD was not something that would result in heavy bleeding. That way, he could drive away without drawing attention to himself, go into the truck stop and have a relaxing meal without standing out to anyone. He could then sleep in his truck and be be on his way before the bodies were even found. All of that wouldn't really be necessary if he knew they wouldn't be found until the next day, but it would make it unlikely that many people would have noticed him in particular since he'd fit in wherever he was seen.

Pretty far-fetched, but it could happen. MOO

I don't think that's terribly far fetched at all. A friend who used to drive a long-haul rig used to do exactly that, though as far as I know her intention wasn't to stalk victims. She just wanted to get some exercise and fresh air, which can be hard to do on the road.

Thanks and BBM. I'm confused about that car path (have been for awhile). Are you saying it runs parallel to the bridge or perpendicular? Can you give us an idea of where the car path starts, which direction it goes and where it ends?

I have never followed that road so I have no idea where it starts or ends. It's not a big road, though. It looks more like a driveway. It kind of runs both parallel and perpendicular. You can only see it from one end of the bridge. Can't see it at all from the opposite end and only slightly from the middle, and that depends on foliage. Honestly, I had never even thought about it until people started posting about it. I've never seen a vehicle on it.

I'm not looking for an argument, in fact, I'm just going to make one statement on the subject, but... I personally think it's wrong to discuss statements GH puts in his videos that come from a "source close to the case" if they are things that LE has said they want to keep to themselves. It's entirely up to him and his source to decide to go against the wishes of LE, but I can't accept these things without knowing who the source is and that LE is agreeable to the information being shared. I know we don't have much else to discuss, so I don't blame anyone for feeling differently about it than I do. MOO

I thought all GH videos were allowed. His channel is on post 1 of every thread so it must be ok right?

I agree but more so because on many videos there is an upload date but not dates on when filming/interview etc.. actually was.

Time is money Shiresleuth...if things don't happen quickly or on time (like the forum read) O/O will move on to another load...waiting for a load is taking time and money away from the possibility of another load. Only company drivers would be mandated to stay and wait and again they can not venture far unless they have a team partner. This is my experience as well as what the forum posters expressed.

But....if there was a partner....things could be extremely different. One could have taken a long walk to smoke a joint/drink in the woods etc. Anything is poossible if one stays with truck and the other goes off for awhile.

I agree. I have 3 uncles who are truckers and have been for more than 40 years now. None of them spend more than an hour or two at any destination and almost all of that time is spent waiting there at the factory/company/business. Having a partner is the only scenarios that I see making sense for BG to have had enough time to go away from the site, commit the crime, and come back. They like to get in and out and they never sleep at their drop-off points. In fact, overnight sleeping or camping in most parking lots and businesses like that is illegal-it's why we have truck stops.

As far as I know, his videos are allowed. I just said that I don't feel right about discussing some things he says in them (referring to COD, things said on the audio/video, etc.), but I can understand why others might feel differently about it.

I don't feel we need to discuss it and I'm not sure those comments are there. It should be verified that the video includes the comment. I couldn't find the first comment and listened to the whole tape.

Are we allowed to discuss the videos on YouTube uploaded by Eric Alter?

I can't see why his videos would be any different than RL's. Why should we believe him anymore than anyone else. Somethings he states as fact and aren't necessarily so. JMO

It's actual comments, in the comment section anyone can comment on.

See how that opens possibilities of one of the girls being noticed ahead of that weekend? That's kind of what i have been thinking of as well.

Thanks rsd!!

In looking at stats, I just keep coming back to this person being an "acquaintance" to one/both of the girls. With the stats below, it's a 90% shot that a female victim would know their attacker. Possibly a "catfisher".

Females, ages 12 to 17: out of 100 victims, 24.3% of the offenders were family members, 65.7%, were acquaintances, and 10.0% of offenders were unknown to them.

I'd forgotten them until someone mentioned them yesterday. We talked about them very early on - when LE made it sound like there probably wasn't a vehicle involved.

I rewatched the creek search a bit yesterday - wonder what they were looking for and if they found it. Parts were surprisingly deep.

moo
Items were found. If you listen to the police radio recording made that morning you can hear LE discussing it. We aren't allowed to post and I don't have a link. Maybe someone will post.

This is the problem I have with many of these videos that have been created about the case. Most are from biased individuals who have clear-cut ideas of who's to blame and this makes for uncomfortable watching at times. GH does some good videos as far as geography goes and he's great with the technical aspect of the case (recreating the places in which the girls stood on the bridge, showing the drive to the park, etc.) but otherwise a lot of the content is still just someone's opinion. (Some of which I agree with, but that still doesn't make their statements factual.) There were questions about allowing WKAT videos here and that's not something I feel comfortable with, either. Although some of the presented information is quite good, there are also instances in other videos in which the filmmakers use cursing to make disparaging remarks against the family members-something that WS doesn't tolerate. I often walk away feeling "dirty" for having watched them.
