In the last quote where the Detective says the BG was looking down, not even paying attention... if you replay the gif that someone made on one of the previous threads and use the photo with his foot up as the first photo and his foot down as the second, he looks up - directly at the camera. The first time I saw it, it surprised me - I didn't expect to see that. My interpretation anyway.

I saw that also, in that gif. It gave me a chill. To me he seems to be turning to his left toward the camera as he looks up. After hearing the 'down the hill' and seeing that gif, it made me feel sick.

I'm only in this forum because I want to be part of the "popular crowd".............................other than that, I have nothing else to contribute.

The only place any speculation of them being related to ANYTHING (one another - the boots to the factory/bomb scare OR to this case) came from WS.

LE has said there is NO correlation between the bomb scare at the plant and the case and that there has been another earlier this past year.

LE has also said the boots were simply for analysis (like hordes of other things taken in thus far) and NOT considered any sort of key evidence to the case.

Nor was there any indication they (boots) were at all related to the factory / bomb scare.

That was ALL due to speculation here on WS and people not reading back before commenting / posting and jumping off on speculation posts or trying to make things out of small possible crumb trails only.

Everything from LE and the media has indicated against it.
I've thought that it might be possible that LE orchestrated or at least utilized the bomb threat to enter the packing plant and just observe behavior of workers there int he presence of LE.

Is this case not being reported nationwide. It sounds like this is only just getting to some people. I just wondered why if this is the case. I would have thought it would have been on every news channel from the day they found the girls and released the pic.

Also I know the hat situation is getting heated but I think LE have probably seen something in the video or pics they have that for whatever reason they won't release to say that he had a hoodie on and not a hat. IMO I don't think they would rule a hat out if they weren't sure because someone could find a hat and not think anything of it and leave it unreported when it could be evidence. Just my thoughts

If the little girl recorded his voice etc..Im assuming she had her mobile? I wonder why she didn't try calling someone? (maybe they haven't made that public), maybe she knew him?

He was probably holding a gun or knife to her back (JMO) you can't really make a phone call in that situation or you'll be killed. She probably didn't have the time to think about it and possibly no cell service to do so either. Also, JMO.

I believe it was on the national news, ABC.

But calling in a bomb threat is against the law

Not ruling out an additional perp is the strangest part of this to me. They have loads of evidence for a crime of this nature. I feel they know for sure whether or not there is an additional person involved in the actual abduction and murders. I believe the phone continued recording after both girls were killed and it should be easy to tell if it is one or more people walking away. I'm confused as to why they aren't saying one way or another - we believe this individual acted alone or we have reason to believe he had an accomplice.

Snipped- I'm wondering if they don't want to rule out a potential getaway driver or someone who dropped him off. Not necessarily an unknown driver picking up a hitchhiker. Maybe to put fear in someone who did pick up a hitchhiker thinking they may held as an accomplice. Maybe there is a voice or background noise that doesn't quite match the killer's voice. Or maybe they felt there could have been more footsteps than there should have been. Maybe the killer spoke to someone on the phone.

Anything Really - you must not be from a rural area? Kids run all over in parks, woods, etc all the time! That's country life and nothing to be criticized.

She probably had a split second to do something and went with the least obvious and best in that situation.

I'm going to be honest. Whatever happened to these girls wasn't the parents fault and Libby did everything she could and then some in this situation for a little girl, probably more than I would have in all honesty. Only the murderer(s) are to be blamed

I feel your two posts this evening have a bit of blame attached and this is a victim friendly forum

My personal opinion is that the method of murder resulted in blood, and probably a lot of it. If that's the case, the perp had to have blood on himself so he had to have either driven himself there (and away) OR lives close enough to walk home. I don't see a bloodied man hitch-hiking.

IMO, MOO.

Steelman is a 'verified nutcase' and there may be a carbuff shaped dent in the ceiling

Fabulous

I blew a kiss to a loaf of bread today because I thought it was my cat.

Two different pics.
One is his hair the next he has hood up over his head.

No, those pictures are consecutive (in reverse order, actually). You can see his left foot raised and then it plants on the board in front of him (same background all around). No removal of any head covering occurs.

He could have strangled them tho...no blood at all....

That girl is a hero. <modsnip> her wherewithal to start documenting this situation, not to mention the fear she must have overcome is admirable. As a 25 y/o former Marine, I can't say that I would be able to do what she did under such circumstances. She's a hero....
