Here's some info on ODD and conduct disorder in children:

This is some serious stuff. It's basically, IMO, sociopathy in kids (ODD and "conduct disorder"). They just don't want to label kids as psychopaths.
What happened to this little girl?
I agree that it's serious and don't mean to minimize the diagnosis, but I wonder how hard it is to get a diagnosis?? With the exception of a few things listed, I think all 9yos are those things at times. Heck, my 10yo still exhibits some of those issues. Lol
I'm not questioning the diagnosis, but how is it determined as ODD vs lets say someone who is acting out because they've been sexually abused?
I have a daughter with special needs (not the 10yo) and I feel like our doctors are always VERY careful and not wanting to "label" her issues as they could be derived from a number of things, so it seems somewhat odd to me that Aliahna was labeled as such.
I wonder the reason for the partial blindness and hearing loss? I wonder how long ago she was given these diagnoses. She is only 9yo...seems like she's been through so much already in her life.
