This case is confusing, do you mean Aliahna when you say Ana? I have that her family calls her Ali, but not Ana. Can we maybe just use the whole name to avoid confusion. Hard enough to keep all the "characters" straight, let's make sure we are all talking about the same victim.

I'm pretty late joining in so I apologize for the fact that I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere but..
Why is LE not conducting any searches for Aliahna? I don't get it.
Just a guess, but I'm guessing that the same grandma that says everyone makes mistakes to NG would probably say the same about the grandpa's sexual abuse of a minor child. With a family like that, did Ali ever stand a chance? jMO
I hear what you are saying Chris. My mom was like that too when I was a teen. We had a few friends stay with us while having trouble with their parents. In fact, they were being abused by their parents. Another would have been homeless as a teen if it weren't for my mom taking her in. However non of these kids went missing on my moms time. And I am sure non of these kids went missing on your friends time.
Thus far, we have not heard from LE what the siblings told them directly. The only information we have heard about what the siblings said is from the adult who was responsible for babysitting them and the last person to see Aliahna alive.
It has yet to be confirmed by LE what exactly the relationship was between the grandfather and his roommate.
I'm not willing to dismiss the possibility that Aliahna, and her entire family were vulnerable for any number of reasons, and this family friend 'groomed them'. And that this family friend is just an innocent helpful friend found in these unfortunate circumstances. More often than not, the last person to see a missing persons alive is responsible. not always, but most often.
I for one would like to know more about the nature of the relationship between grandpa and the family friend, as well as the living situation. Were they both renters? Did one of them own and take the other in?
jmo and bbl, still not caught up but running out for sliders!
Did anyone catch the part where the scent dogs followed her scent to the bus stop? That's were the trail ended and it's on the main hwy.
Right. He said to NG producers that she awakened at 2:30 a.m. crying and wanted to go home to her mother but he didn't take her because he didn't want to leave the other two alone. Huh? But then he leaves all three alone later? Was it the age difference? (I did read from a neighbor that Aliahna took care of her sisters). Or was it that he left them alone because he was disposing of a problem that had been crying earlier?
