I don't understand those "friends" that he has on his friends list that have names like "Fakes B busted" ""Fakez Buzted" and many variations thereof. What are those? I also noted he has very very few male friends. Guess that doesnt mean anything though.
Basically, they are fake profiles set up to bust fake profiles, if that makes sense lol. Some teens apparently set up fake profiles, with fake pics of themselves, fake info etc. It is like they can live an online life full of friends and posts etc like a fantasy life for themselves. My dd age 16 has showed me fakes before. One girl she went to school with had set up a fake and it was so obvious it was a fake her profile pics taken from google model pics were not even all of the same model, she just used random girls who looked similiar to each other to represent herself. There is a button where you can report these fakes to facebook... Well some people have taken it one step further and made their own fake profile in order to spot and report fakes and make it their goal in life to report all these fakes to facebook. In order to report a fake you must be logged in to facebook, so for whatever reason, the fake busters do not want to report them from their own page, thus the fake to report fakes... Does that make sense, if not Im sorry, I tried.. lol.

Press conference statement

Monday morning, Corporal Jeremy Tinkel with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department held a short press conference to address Aliahna’s disappearance. Tinkel says there are no leads, suspects or tips that have pushed the Allen County Sheriff’s Department in a new direction. He says that despite there being no new leads or suspects, the case has not gone cold.

“At this point, this investigation has not gone cold. We have people working around the clock. We have detectives that are assigned to this. We’re personally committed as a department to finding this girl and being able to bring her home. That’s our job, and that’s our focus. That’s what we want to do.”

Thanks! Yes, that does make sense :) How odd, though, that people devote themselves to busting people with fake profiles. Oh well, to each his own I guess.

I, however, believe that I might.

After reading thru this thread all I can say is WOW.
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW.
What in the h-e double hockey sticks is wrong with people.
We live in a world where "mothers" dump their little girls at peoples houses for days and weeks at a time.
We live in a world where LE says, Oh well we dont know what happened or where to look.
People put more effort in finding a lost kitten. WOW.

They are dillegently seaching so long as it doesn't interrupt anything more important, like, say, Miller Time or the game on TV. According to the news they searched one day then said the hell with it.

One thing though I noticed our "family friend" here appears to have friended a lot and I mean a lot of "fake busters". I am not sure why he would do that, unless maybe he himself is a fake buster, but most fakes are teens and most fake busters are teens as well... so just really odd that he has friended so many of them...

I have also heard of fake profiles being set up and girls using them for sexting, FB chat, etc. 90% of his FB friends seem to be either fakes or teen girls. That is alarming to me. At the very least I believe he is ogling all their photos. MOO, but I really get the feeling he's some kind of a perve. :(

I'm traveling home from Xmas today, but I will call LE with this info later today or for sure tomorrow. Even if he has nothing to do with Aliahna's disappearance, this needs to be looked into. IMO.

How convenient...on camera buying a cigar at 6 a.m. Sounds like someone else who was on camera buying a box of wine.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? You don't leave your child for a WEEK because you have the "flu." Maybe a day and maybe overnight, but a WEEK?

Even if she did wander off, which I do not believe, these "adults" are responsible and should be charged with neglect. This poor little girl didn't stand a chance with these adults caring for her, living in that area, grandpa being a RSO.

Pitiful!

The investigation hasn't gone COLD???

He really said that, after she is missing for 72 HOURS and they have been "investigating" for 62 hours???

*speechless*

All I'm going to say is if I was too sick to care for my kids for "about a week", my behind would be in a hospital. I don't like the reports that the girls said Aliahna left with their mother. I think they need to focus on the mother's home/vehicle and the landfills. Just a hunch.

What a difference in the searches for this child and little Jason in SC!!! Surely the FBI is involved now.I'm wondering what those bloodhounds found.

What I don't get is certain people on AL's FB page. This MP, the stepfather and one other man are all her 'friends'... and friends of each other...and with the mother...
And unless my reading and math skills are lacking, and I am missing a piece, I do believe the other man is her bio father..and DOES live in the area.........yet no mention of him nor any 'plea' for her.(whether it is him or not, odd to me)

How frustrating...

Another thing I find odd is one of the 6 yr olds is her stepsister. Did the bio dad of the stepsister, presumbably Aliahnas current stepfather, not think twice about his daughter staying with some 39 yr old man while her stepmother was sick. Did he not have other relatives maybe the biomom of the 6 yr old to send her too while her stepmother was sick?? Just all of this has me SMH!!

Yes, there is a lot of them, I think that's why I noticed it in the first place. I wonder if this grown man has the maturity of a teenager, and that is why there are so many of them on his friends list, or like mrsu said in the post above, MAYBE he likes teen girls. :(

Regarding pics on 'friends' fb account - according to other pictures on fb at a wedding, that woman in the pictures with the girls is NOT mom.

  • #338
Did they search near the gas station with the cigars?

5 mile search should have expanded.
You would logically think that a child that goes missing in the care of a 3 time felon (he might have turned right, who knows) would search a larger area than just 5 miles?

The few times that I have had to entrust my kids to someone, we sent the three older kids (mine) and my youngest (mine and my boyfriends) all to my brothers house, so they wouldn't have to be separated while I was in the hospital. There were people on my boyfriend's side that would have taken the baby, but not the other kids, so we just went with the person that could care for all of them. Although it's a little different because that is my family, we don't know for sure how close grandpa's roommate was to the rest of the family. They might consider him just the same as family. MOO.
