I think you're right. Sadly, I really wanted to give mom the benefit of the doubt. To think that she and her family were groomed by this . Not to say they weren't. I truly believe they were groomed.

However, the warning information WAS THERE right in front of their faces and they chose to ignore it. Warnings that may not be available in other situations families are groomed, but they were there in this case. The guy was a convicted felon with warrants in another state. Grandpa had his own problems as a convicted child molester which should have been clear he should have not been in the company of any child alone.

There was information available long before we learnt it that these children should have NEVER EVER been left in the company of this man or grandpa.

Police have arrested Michael Plumadore, 39, Fort Wayne, and charged him with murder. He&#8217;s due to be arraigned in court Tuesday morning. Plumadore was a friend of the family, according to police.

Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries said, &#8220;Unfortunately tonight, the search came to a conclusion we&#8217;d hoped wouldn&#8217;t happen. After three different interviews with one of the individuals involved, he was taken into custody tonight about 9 p.m. and charged with murder.&#8221;

Fries would only say her body was discovered in northern Allen County.

Lemmon was reported missing on Dec. 23 and investigators believe the crime occurred sometime before that time.

Detectives and the FBI gathered enough information on the third interview, according to Fries. Enough information was gathered to bring officials to the conclusion of the investigation.

Fries would not disclose the motive for the killing, or the manner of death in Lemmon&#8217;s murder.

The Sheriff said Lemmon&#8217;s body was discovered shortly after the interview was conducted around 9 p.m. Monday evening.

no, I was looking into that the other night but there are so many elementaries in the area and I am not that familiar with them so I could not pin it down. If she went to the regular public school (she has special needs and may have went to a different school) I did find the district (same as my sister's kids) and asked her when they were out on break last week. She said they were out Wed, Thurs and Fri.

Those same witnesses also said that two men were arrested, and that doesn't seem to be the case. In fact, latest reports indicate that FBI doesn't believe anyone other than the man arrested knew anything about the death.

I don't believe much that I see on FB. People there are more concerned about being the first to post info, rather than posting the correct info. JMO.

Sounds like a dumpster was involved.

Is it confirmed 2 people were arrested? Who is the other person? I honestly and truly cannot wrap my head around this. I have been sucked into this website since Michelle Parker went missing, and while you all seem like really awesome people, I just don't think I'm cut out for this. My heart hurts for these children. My sister just called me and wanted to know if there was any news on the little girl because she lives across from the Allen Co. sheriff's dept. where the presser was held and saw all the news vans. She missed the beginning of the news so I told her. The jail is downtown, not in the same area as the sheriff's dept. bldg so at least the isn't near her house anymore!

I guess we can assume she did not go to a private Catholic school? I believe the little girl I saw at the Townhouse Retirement Home on St Joe Center Road who looked so much like Ali was with a group of 3 classrooms that sang Christmas songs.

ETA: actually, I think the name of the school might have been Saint James, but I don't know anything else about it. It may not be private and is not necessarily Catholic. My assumption = my bad. My DGS attends Perry Hill Elementary.

Even though he didn't have any prior convictions of crimes against children it doesn't suprise me because he is a felon convicted of violent crimes. He is a violent man if we go by his record. Meaning he's probably got some impulse control issues that wouldn't keep him from violently assaulting a child that was stretching his patience or take it out on a child that just happened to be there when he was reacting to a stressful situation.

We have a felon in our extended family. Once she is released from prison---this time---my rule that she has no contact with my kids and is not welcome in our home stands. That's just me though.

Poor baby girl. I'm very sad tonight.

I'm just sick for this little angel, and her little sisters. Just absolutely sick. I want to hug them and give them the beautiful Christmas that they deserved. All of the toys and love and happiness that they should have had. Whatever mistakes this family might have made, they didn't deserve this. God bless them.

based on what I have read, some just speculation- if she was in the trailer, maybe he disposed of a weapon? I wonder what makes a molester turn into a murderer? In my experience, he had her change into her party dress.

On the other hand...

Don't the police check the last place she was seen, thoroughly? I specifically remember 2 cases where the child was found in the home sleeping in a bizarre place. How many places can you hide a body in a trailer? so perhaps she wasn't found in the trailer, it's just the crime scene, she was disposed of at the dumpster.

I disagree that because someone is a felon it's easy to see them becoming a child molester and a murderer. Does he have to plead on Tuesday? I am assuming he will plead not guilty so his lawyer can prepare a case and possible plea bargain---
