Yes the trailer location would be considered northern Allen County and I believe she went to Holland Elementary school

Would you happen to know if Holland Elementary students sang at the Townhouse Retirement Community on St. Joe Center Road before they got out of school for the holidays?

But let's remember, those were just MISTAKES, and anyone can make mistakes. Arrgghh

Sorry, I can hardly stand it. It's just so sickening.

I guess it turns out that NO ONE took a sleepwalking Ali off the streets. Did ANYONE believe that cockamamie story?

no, I posted on Saturday my hinky meter on the story was leaning towards the red zone. If she wandered away and got lost she would have been found Saturday, jmo. I still want an explanation as to why LE called off the search so early. Even if they knew MP's story was bull and they needed to break him down so he would lead them to her what if he never did? They better have a really good reason for calling it off, I know a lot of people are upset about it, including me! :maddening:

And then to use the little girl's issues with sleepwalking, etc. against her, as if she had gone off on her own...

Looking at the post count of some of the active members I don't know how you do it. The heartbreak....

I discovered this forum due to lack of information coming out of traditional news sources. On Saturday morning I passed the crime scene on the way to a relatives (10:00 am), a few heavy rescue trucks, police cars, seemed like something serious was going on. However, on the way home (3:00 pm) is when I knew something was really wrong (20+ fire/rescue trucks, boats, ATV's, etc.). I nearly got sick to my stomach and immediately told my wife that if someone was missing from that area it wouldn't end good. The trailer park is referred to locally as Pedophile Park, and is sandwiched between several nicer areas of Ft. Wayne. It feels like a sick joke, 15 RSO's + other convicted felons it is a blessing this hasn't happened more frequently.

The real reason for my post is to commend the active members. Until this case I didn't know how to access scanner feeds online, or the power they can posess for everyday people trying to help. It is like they always say, things don't seem real until they hit close to home...living 10 minutes away and passing the search in full swing has certainly opened my eyes in a way that will help better protect my children.

It is obvious none of you veteran members get used to the sadness or anger, and while I doubt my personality type will allow me to participate in the way you guys do (for sanity), I wanted to say that with every sad case you guys are probably helping more people that you will ever realize.

I AM SO SICK OF THESE G_D DAMN_D HEATHENS !!
WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP!!! :furious::furious::furious::furious::furious:
:furious::furious::furious::furious::furious:
:furious::furious::furious::furious:
:furious::furious::furious::furious:

I'M SORRY! I CANT TAKE ANY MORE OF THESE SICK S. O. B.s

BBM

It's going to stop when the person who has primary responsibility for the care of a child starts asking tough, hard questions and listens carefully to the answers instead of thinking and believing "it's none of my business" and looking for the easy way out to whatever is the challenging dilemma of the moment.....

The area of the trailer and the area where the remains were found are both Northern Allen County. I mapped it, and realized that it is only a mile from my sister's (nice) home, and about 1.5 miles from my other sister's in-laws' farm house. Wow.

I am really curious as to the cause of death. This man was apparently caring for her off and on for some time, and apparently was getting her to school, or the bus anyway. He did eventually lead them to the body, so I wonder if he confessed to everything already. Just curious, and my mind is wandering, as I can't wrap my head around this mess. I'm just so sad about this.

The last day for them was Wed. I am not sure if they sang there.

Anybody else wondering what the grandfather died from? This guy doesn't seem to be the optimal "caretaker".

:(

Yes, I am wondering.

I find it so odd that Florida DOC only issued a warrant for his arrest on 11/11/11 from an violation back in 2001. WTH took them so long to issue a warrant in the first place?

Welcome FTW, and thanks for your post! I was thinking the same thing--I have followed only a few cases now, and it is already wearing on me. Good news would be really nice right now. :(

WELCOME FTW, how I wish it were under happier circumstances.

Sometimes it does get to us and we have to take a break, or we step away and then decide to peek in and get caught up again. If you look down below Aliahna's thread in this Located section you will see the name of Jason Elijah Burton and the words in purple "Found Alive". That's an example of why I do it.

Some of us just know and want the child found and given a proper burial that they so deserve. It is becoming all to common that so many seem to be thrown away like trash and for me it is important for those angels to know that we care.

Oh and one more thing it is important that someone is held accountable. We have some great sleuthers here and sometimes they find info before LE do.

Welcome again.

I just hate that this child was virtually hand-delivered to the boogie man, the very creature most children learn to be so terrified of...

I know, right?!? So many "what ifs" in this scenario.

Thank you and welcome to WS FTW. :welcome:

There is something that drives us to speak for those without a voice. It's the only way I can describe continuing to be a part of this wonderful community for as long as I have. As you mentioned, you found the scanner feeds through us. We have a drive to get to the truth, seperate the fact from fiction and just keep fighting for the victim to receive justice.

Thank you for taking the time to join us. Whether you remain an active poster or not, your finding us and finding these avenues is important for the victims, and welcome again.

There are no words. Just tears. When my friend was murdered. This song gave me comfort. Poor precious angel.

I am starting to wonder if animals have more compassion than human beings.

OMG...but lst step to Aiahanna's justice. Wow, that is all we got for the little life she has spent on earth (from the media, etc. lace of looking). But i am thankful Aiahanna has been found & justice will prevail...right now we don't know who the culprit is; thank God it seems somebody confessed.

I am so sick right now, just thinking, you see cases like little Jorelys, or Skylar, and these children were taken out in a public area, and murdered. And I see poor little Aliahna, and the way I look at it she was practically delivered to her murderer. Why? Why? I just can't understand. I may get a time out for this but I don't care. I am SO angry! Please people, learn a lesson from this!!! Not that I think it applies to anyone here.

ETA: I see you share my sentiment cluciano, I missed that

In case this link is new...
Maybe I missed this in an earlier post?

<snip> About a half-dozen people in black windbreakers, several of whom identified themselves as FBI agents, were at the mobile home park in Fort Wayne where Aliahna Lemmon went missing from a family friend's home on Friday. Some with search dogs were seen at a nearby storage facility.

FBI agents also were outside a trailer identified by the girl's step-grandfather, David Story, as her mother Tarah Souder's home. A box truck was backed up to the mobile home Monday night, and a sheriff's official said a forensics team was sweeping the trailer <snip>

Florida is a very scary place as concerns crimes and sex offenders and one of the reasons we left there. After Jessica Lunsford and reading about her predator, Couey, we did a sex offender search in our neighborhood, a nice deeded beach access community and it scared the life out of us! We would have never guessed. They seem to migrate there. Maybe they spread the word among themselves that Florida is soft on pedophiles, I dunno. But Ali's predator was up for parole violation, right? VERY very lagging in followthrough.

I think warrants expire and have to be re-issued often if they are long time outstanding warrants. At least that is how I understand it, but only from word of mouth.
