Ok – this is what it says in the probable cause document:

“The Defendant stated in the late evening hours of Thursday December 22, 2011 and the early morning hours of December 23, 2011 he dismembered Aliahna’s body by cutting it up with a hacksaw. The Defendant stated he then placed small pieces of Aliahna’s body in freezer bags and disposed of them in a dumpster located at a nearby business. The Defendant further advised Aliahna’s head, feet and hands were still in his freezer at his residence.”

So as it stands right now (and until more charging documentation is offered up) it is written to say that all but her head, hands and feet were cut into small pieces and put into freezer bags and disposed of into the dumpster.

I'm wondering maybe he didn't have a meat grinder or something to make it easier...you could definitely fit more ground "meat product" in a bag than you could fit chunks...I really need to stop thinking about this aspect of the case. Really.

I wonder if maybe they didn't take the whole trailer in order to be able to fully check drains...I wonder if it had a garbage disposal. They aren't common in MI trailers, but I don't know about IN.

Do we know if MP ever lived in TN? I was trying to find info on MP to see if we can do a timeline of his life. While looking I found a site that found a SO out of TN with the last name Plumadore. Not MP but wondering if maybe a relative of his. His offenses where from back in 87 and 94.

I have found his grandparents and some cousins - perhaps his mother as well - names at least.

Are therapy dogs dangerous? NOT.......

I don't get that part of ringing a dangerous dog into the city thing.............

I've found some information on MP family - not sure what I can post - it is from an obituary dated 1997.

I believe we can link to the obit.

Reading the description of her dress and tights is heartbreaking...what a pretty outfit...she probably felt beautiful in that dress. Ugh it is just so sickening...

I apologize in advance. Caretaker? Really? THUD
I disagree. imoo

Well, she had been worried about him and some of the other residents earlier on, and so she asked her father for some assurances. You and I see the father as just another RSO. But she evidently was close to her father, and maybe she thought he was innocent of the charges.

My mother, who is a wonderful, nurturing and caring soul, allowed her little brother to move into our home and become our babysitter when she was divorced. She thought it was a win-win situation. Her little brother, who was 18, had been molested by the parish priest when he was much younger. He had been having some emotional issues , temper problems, trouble fitting in, and she thought that living with us would help him. And she wanted someone trustworthy, like family, to watch us after school since she had gone to work for the first time in her life. She trusted him totally. And he raped me for a few years until I was about 9 or 10 years old.

People reading this might blame my mom, assume that she should have KNOWN he was going to act out like that. But in her eyes, he was her little brother who needed love and a family close by to help him. It never ever occurred to her that he would lash out like that. My mom is not stupid or uncaring. She is a naive and hopeful Pisces, that made a serious error.

Add to that mom wasn't unaware of grandpa's crime(s).
She wasn't unaware her daughter had already been abused twice.
She wasn't unaware of the residents of the tp being RSO's when she made the choice to move her family there.

These are choices she made WITHOUT blinders on, because we have MSM to prove what she was aware of prior to making these choices.

'nuff said and jmo

bbm = I'm going to share a story that I posted, but deleted on the day Ali was found, just because it relates to TS and JL...

I have a friend who is a LEO ~ a woman who had once lived with his brother and had a young daughter at that time, but had since split up, was on serious drug charges. She also had affiliation with a known biker group. She contacted my friend and told him that if he didn't get the charges dropped, there would be serious repercussions to his family. His worry was the biker group, but obviously he couldn't and didn't intervene with the charges.

While she was in jail, charges were brought against his brother and his father for child molestation. Fathers court date was first. He was deaf and mostly didn't understand anything that was said in court. His lawyer was a piece of work...and no one found out until afterwards that he was on retainer with that same bike gang...it didn't go well, even though the child AND mother had the dates, addresses, events totally mixed up and confused. Father ended up in jail. When brothers case came to court -- different lawyer -- the truth came out - neither had abused this child, and in fact had been nothing but caring and loving to her -- but bio dad...

When the original charges were laid though, there wasn't a doubt in anyones mind that knew these men, that there was any validity to them. The dad had raised his boys and daughter on his own all their lives, they all had families with children who had often been babysat by grandpa and that didn't change.

I'm just saying that it's very possible that regardless of whether the charges were valid or not - TS may not have believed them just as strongly as this family didn't believe.

The other issue, however, is the grandfathers living arrangements -- that imo was not a place for anyones children!

It needs to be noted that that was before his confession.

Please note, I NEVER stated it was AFTER his confession. Clearly MP was incarcerated once he confessed, so it would have been impossible for him to be interviewed with Aliahna's family AFTER confessing.

Also, the snippet I quoted clearly states the interview occured on December 23rd, the day Aliahna was reported missing.

I think to most readers, it is already clear the confession occured on Monday December 26th and the interview with MP and Aliahana's family occured Friday December 23rd.

Aliahna’s stepgrandfather said at a candlelight vigil Monday that the girl suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder brought by abuse she suffered on two different occasions last year in Iowa. Story said the people who were responsible were caught by police, but he had no other details.

He said Aliahna felt bad about telling on the men because she didn’t want them to get in trouble. Aliahna also had a history of sleepwalking and vision and hearing problems and had attention-deficit hyperactive disorder, her family said

What she meant was that the page was set up to help Ali and her friend stay in touch...
AFTER Ali's family moved her out of the state.

So Ali's friend did not move...
Ali and her family did move...
And they used facebook to stay in touch.

Does that make sense?

Thank you for clarifying. I misunderstood that this friend of Aliahna's resided in MD.

SOme breeds are designated as "dangerous" by the city or county.

For instance, my dog is not dangerous in the least. He's a pit bull terrier and lab mix. I must carry extra insurance on him, and repetitoin with my county every three years to be allowed to keep him because he is a "dangerous breed." Other dogs on that list are chows and chow mixes, German Shephards, Pits and pit mixes, malamutes, and just about any other dog too big to fit in one hand.

The dangerous dog petition just means that they wanted to own a breed of dog classified as dangerous. It does not mean that the dog itself is dangerous, just that it's breed alone classifies it as needing extra scrutiny. This applies to helper dogs and therapy dogs, if they fit into the category of "dangerous" as determined by the authorities. TS followed part of the necessary steps to own a particular breed of dog in that city, but didn't follow all of them by bothering to show up at the meeting.

You may have to change some of those names (esp minors if any) to initials only. IDK for sure ...

Can you link to that obit too please?

It's been my experience (all too often) that there are many resources out there...but the folks that need them do not know a thing about them.

And whose fault is that? TS was no stranger to parenting a known victim. Are we really to excuse her lack of educating herself not just the first time her daughter was abused, but a second time as well?

If she had no prior experience as a parent of an abused child that's one thing. However this wasn't TS's 'first rodeo' so to speak.

I can see a first time victim being unaware of these resources out there, but I can't excuse prior experience and still being unaware of these resources.

JMO

ETA: She had to have some resources made known to her if she sought to have a therapy dog for her child. So we clearly know she was made aware of resources available to her and her child.
