Looks like an arrest has been made! The suspect, Kenneth Pitts Jr. was found at a Nevada campsite, I think.
Thanks for the heads-up, Sun!

“A Vigo County man wanted in connection with the homicide of 77-year-old Alice ‘Anita’ Oswald, has been arrested, according to Terre Haute Police Department Assistant Chief Shawn Keen.

Kenneth R. Pitts Jr., 55, of Terre Haute was arrested in Nevada just before midnight on Friday, police said.

Investigators with THPD received information leading them to believe Pitts was staying at a campsite in Nevada.

Late Friday night officers with the Las Vegas Police Department's Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Pitts and booked him in the Clark County, Nevada, Jail.

In the coming days, police will be working with the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office to secure his extradition, Keen said.

Kenny Pitts homicide trial reset to June 2020

Kenneth R. "Kenny" Pitts Jr., 56, is now schedule to go to trial June 1, 2020. His trial previously had been set for Oct. 21.

I am pretty sure this is no longer correct, but can't find an online docket.

On Friday [October 22, 2021], the Vigo County Prosecutor's Office said Kenneth Pitts was sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing Anita Oswald.

Pitts entered a guilty plea earlier this year to voluntary manslaughter and burglary.
Pitts was sentenced to 30 years for each count to run concurrently with each other.

"In 2018, the entire community was impacted by the disappearance and death of Anita Oswald," Vigo County Prosecutor Terry Modesitt said. "The sentence handed down today protects our community from this career criminal, likely for the rest of his life. He will be roughly 80 years old before he will be eligible to get out of prison."
