Often when there's no organized grid search, it's because they consider the area too dangerous. In this case, maybe concern about used needles or stumbling into toxic amounts of fentanyl or that kind of thing.

Uggghhhhh...yeah...now that you mention it, this is probably why LE didn’t do the search for Adam Gilbertson, volunteers did.

Definitely a safety concern for searchers. That’s sad. That’s really gross and awful to think about, dirty needles everywhere. :(. I was immediately worried about the toxic water for the divers...and all that “debris” they had to go through in those dirty waters...

Thank you , pepper 34. Thisisbgreat and gives me something to really stare at.

This brings to mind, we have heard a lot about water searches, have we seen any organized land GRID searches? Surely they would have occurred as SOP imo? (Need to reference manual in resources). I do not recall seeing any photos of grid walks , maybe I missed it or there just weren’t any captured. photos I would expect to see might look something like this:

(Linking)

Of note, GSs are often done when the victim has not officially been considered deceased, thinking about this further however I still think an organized grid would’ve been in order 2 mile radius?

I've only heard on a news video about some informal volunteer searches... nothing organized or extensive that I've read or heard on the news. A baby that size could easily be hidden in a back pack and taken anywhere though. Sad to say; I'm not hopeful she'll ever be found. The responsible party(ies) had way too long of a head start. I don't guess her little body is in the creek off Sadie Road... I think she was already disposed of in an earlier hurry somewhere... and later, someone had a genius awakening of sorts and realized her belongings (items) needed to be dumped, too. The belongings were dumped in the morning time. I'm sure her body would not have been dumped in the creek, right near the neighborhood on Sadie Road, in daylight. Even though dumb enough to dump her belongings that way... (thank goodness/evidence.) Poor little baby.. too much confusion and chaos going on around her, I'm afraid.. and nobody seemed to even know she was gone. ALL JMO.

In my mind, and I could be way off base, the find of the dumped items is what sparked LE to say "we found out shes been missing way longer". Kinda makes me wonder what all they found for that discussion to be sparked, by whoever sparked it. Receipts?

They searched the creek, didn't they? Since people seem to like to hang out under bridges and trestles, I would think that area would have been searched, too. But... who knows?

I know they searched the creek down by Sadie Road but have they searched the whole length of the entire creek? The water is moving and... how far downstream have they gone and searched? In addition, there is an offshoot stream I've marked with red lines which appears more narrow and probably clogged with all kinds of car parts, etc, from the businesses it cuts through. I'm just not sure how good of a job can be done searching this creek. I would expect it should take at least a week of searching and I haven't read or heard anything being done to that extent. The two photos show some of the obstacles which would have to be contended with...
Not to mention all the many old, empty railroad cars in the area and the thousands of junk cars, truck, RV's... make that a 2 or 3 week search that would need to be done, aside from the creek and it's offshoot. The whole place is a nightmare of junk with weedy, overgrown banks and mud, sand, rotting vegetation, trash... No, respectfully, I don't see how they could have searched this whole area thoroughly at all. They'd be hard pressed to justify such an expense... because, the poor little baby could be in a million places other than in this creek.
JMO

This whole case and the lack of news is exasperating! Where are her advocates that should be keeping her front and center in the news? Back to sitting on my hands :(

Alright so let’s calculate approx maximum possible distance he could have gone in that length of time on March 9 based on him leaving at 1ish and returning at 10ish.

That’s 9 hours.

4.5 hours each way.

Evaluate distance and speed.

ETA:
And draw a circle of maximum radius as epicenter.

A) holmes as epicenter
B) mr as epicenter after subtracting distance to this point (7 miles was it iirc need to check)

Maybe some sort of food items that might indicate being older and more spoiled then they might have guessed they should be, based on what they were told by people questioned? "Wrong" moisture content or "wrong" color or texture.... related to bodily fluids found, such as blood or urine or bodily waste found on items? ...Yes, receipts.... An earlier than expected dated receipt in a bag of items purchased and same items having been opened and used and present in the items found, though that might not be definitive evidence on it's own but might back up some other evidence found. Iow... the receipt more closely matches the time element/appearance of the items left behind than it matches the date given as to when the "baby went missing."

But, wasn't he seen several times by witnesses inside that area of Mickle-Rockville? We haven't been told who saw him or when they saw him or even if they really saw him! ... but that throws off the idea that he had 9 hours driving time, I think.

Have we heard anything from or about the FBI? It was reported in MSM some time ago that the FBI had gotten involved. Are they still involved?

On last Saturday’s PC J said yes they were still involved. I was assume the FBI file stays open until the case is closed?

I don't know what the "norm" is when the FBI gets involved in a case like this, but it makes me wonder what the FBI is doing to help find her. IMPD, too. Are they still interviewing people and tracking down tips and searching on the ground? Or just... waiting?

Did RL have a valid license? He’s a drug user/addict? Car in poor condition?
(Probably not valid tag/sticker either)

This is just my thought - what if drugs (using/buying/selling) was foremost on his mind. If he did need to hide or dispose of something, perhaps somewhere closer or more familiar? The driving force being getting back to the drugs or friends/associates? Depends on whether he had been up all night using or what type of drugs he was using, a lot of variables as to his state of mind.

I can get to Crawfordsville in 2.5 hours, which is about 45-60 west of Indianapolis and I live across the river from Louisville, Kentucky.

Even if RL stayed in the area of M/R, which is highly possible, we still need to evaluate maximum distance range just in case, that way we can at least say the furthest he absolutely could’ve gone in any direction. I would use maximum variables on this, 80mph speed on the highway, that way to not unser estimate range.

I doubt that he has left the area, but I do know that if he went east for 9 hours,he could be in western PA. There are tons of interstates that meet in Indy.

4.5 hours would be the maximum due to equal return time.

Was it ever solidified where exactly the 1907 place was along the creek? Seeing the sandy beach area had me wondering if that was it, but I wasn’t picturing it being so close.

I second this question.

I am not sure exactly where it is,but many people who live in the area told me that it is a railroad bridge that has a sign 1907 in front of it. With so many locals telling me that,I am trusting that they know.

I am wondering if RL was there, and got taken away in the ambulance, which could be why they are not looking for him now. Maybe he ODed there, and is in a hospital recovering,so they know exactly where he is.
