Also, I wish MSN would get their reporting right:
Mother of missing baby said she called tip in to police
"Wednesday, police searched an area on the west side after getting a tip close to the investigation. That tip brought them to the banks of the White River near McCarty and Sadie Streets."
That's not the White River. It's Eagle Creek. Morons.

Good thought about bridges. I thought it might have something to do with the railroad stuff that ran right along the banks of the river/creek.
Could be that too!

ADMIN NOTE:

Too many posts removed as part of a discussion that is not victim friendly.

One of the basic tenets of Websleuths is that it is victim friendly. Family members are considered victims until/unless information from LE / MSM indicates otherwise.

Post according to The Rules or you may find yourself on the outside looking in.

VICTIM FRIENDLY

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is relevant to the case.

The "victim friendly" rule extends to the family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, and others who have not been designated as suspects is not allowed. Don't make random accusations, suggest their involvement, nor bash and attack them. Posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public -- is not allowed. That does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media.

What we know about the disappearance of Amiah Robertson

“It has been more a week since 8-month-old Amiah Robertson went missing in Indianapolis, and with each passing day, questions related to the case continue to pile up.“

Snip

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Amiah's family reported her missing Saturday, two days after the last time she was seen.“

Snip

“No information has been provided about who was caring for Amiah when she went missing.“

Snip

“The IMPD has not released the total number of tips received in relation to the case.“

Snip

“On Wednesday, the search extended to the White River. Officers responded to the area of West McCarty Street near the river just after 4:40 p.m. after getting a tip about potential evidence related to the case.“

Invest involving missing 8-month old Amiah Robertson, inaccurate reports & alleged “evidence” recovered have been seen on social media. Official accounts/facts as investigation proceeds will come from IMPD. Don’t spread rumors, spread the plea for help in finding her & the truth

Well thanks for that! :)

“1907
1) a house once owned by a family, now the site of weekend college parties, inevitably resulting in cataclysmic damage and at least 8 police officers.

2) a house where students are capable of walking in, but can only crawl or stagger out.
Tom: "What happened at 1907?"

E-Rock: "The cops kicked in all the doors and arrested 2 people. You don't remember?"”

Maybe LE can find some truth by cell phone records and pings. I pray this baby is found soon. And I surly hope she didn't suffer if its not a positive outcome.

Still trying to wrap my head around this timeline:

“Amber says her ex-boyfriend planned to drop her 8-month-old baby girl off with a babysitter at the Holmes Street address before the child disappeared.

"When I contacted the babysitter, she said the baby was never there," said Robertson.

Amber claims she hasn't seen her daughter Amiah since Friday and is concerned about her daughter's safety.“

Snip

“For their part, police say the family's story has been inconsistent. The family initially told investigators Amiah was last seen on Thursday, March 14 and they did not think the girl was at risk.

The 8-month-old was officially reported missing on Saturday, March 16 and it wasn't until Tuesday, March 19 that police determined the girl might be in danger.“

UPDATE: FBI now assisting IMPD with search for missing 8-month-old girl

—-

Last seen according to Amber:

“Police spent several hours searching an address on S. Holmes Avenue Tuesday in connection with the case. That is where the child's mother says the girl was last seen, but police say they have gotten conflicting information about the girl's disappearance.”

I can’t even follow the ‘family’ dynamic in this case

Ha! I think with you being unable to follow it, that makes all of us.

I’m confused as hell.

Have you guys located the specific dumpster yet (street view, etc)? I think I missed some of this dumpster business earlier. When is pickup? Which landfill?

Here’s another link to the video:
Police cancel Silver Alert for missing baby as search continues

Has this been answered?

Also, I wish MSN would get their reporting right:

okay, I am completely lost in where they are searching. That said if they were/are searching a waterway that is nearest Sadie and McCarthy it would definitely be (little) Eagle Creek.

See photo. Little Eagle Creek. White River is to the east. Eagle Creek eventually enters White River just north of 465.

(pin drop is McCarthy )

IF neighbor was correct about Friday night seeing Mom carry Amiah out holding her strangely to say the least, I believe that is when something happened. God forbid me for saying this but she could very well have been deceased then. MOO

Me, too. Sounds like she was taking Amiah to someone to get help. If true. Was there a video of this?

Just like Angela Steinfurth planted diapers. First thing I thought of.
Elaina Steinfurth case put to rest with murder pleas from mother, ex-boyfriend

In order to shed light on Angela's deception, the prosecution told a story of how, early on, during the search of the Maumee river for Elaina's body, Angela had told officers to search a particular part of the river bank.

When they didn't go, she went over herself and returned to say there were soiled diapers in the area. She said they matched the kind that Elaina would wear. Those diapers happened to be located on the bank, near a dead fish.

Investigators who had searched the area previously were familiar with the area. They knew they'd searched that area specifically and found nothing. They'd even seen that particular dead fish and remembered turning it over, seeing gravel covering the scales.

The prosecutor says when searchers returned to the area and found the diapers near the fish they so clearly remembered, they realized the diapers had been planted recently. Investigators believed Angela planted those diapers.
Cases like this make me sick. Baby Eliana was in a box in the garage. This case also reminds me of Shaylyn Ammerman and the terrible plea deal the prosecutor had to make because the witnesses weren't reliable.

As far as the dumpster, there is a link up thread stating that the dumpster and truck has been determined to be unrelated to the case.

Do any of the articles mention the address that Amber lives at?

To my knowledge, they do not. Others may know more.
