I read that it wasn't RL she was supposedly getting back with another one. Then RL turned up and she contacted the dad of her son because RL had assaulted her

Yes, the alleged father of her child, who claimed he was out of town when the child went missing. He apparently was concerned that RL would harm the children. It was after he showed up that the baby was reported missing. Imo

I wonder if their assessment of their “last seen” has possibly changed? We will find out in the PC, perhaps.

I wonder if they’ve found Amiah, or this will just be an update on the investigation (agencies involved, areas searched, etc).

Finally! I hope we have some new information and not the usual, "We cannot answer that question right now in order to protect the integrity of the investigation. We will continue to use all possible resources to find Aliah. If you have any information please call the tipline."

Excuse me while I ramble, but...I've combed through the missing report and the battery/criminal recklessness/leaving the scene reports linked upthread from 3/16/19. Confusing to me as I'm not familiar with reading these type of documents. What I found interesting:

In the MISSING report it lists 3 people in the report. Amiah, AR and RL.( Occured 14:35/reported 14:40) officer dispatched 14:48.

In the BATTERY/CRIMINAL RECKLESSNESS report it lists 5 people in the report. Three WITNESSES (AR and 2 others -one we assume is LH as age, ht and zip match from final missing persons report) arrestee RL, and strangely lists Amiah with her status as missing person. (Occured 14:35/reported 15:02 after 1st officer dispatched) - 2nd/different officer dispatched 16:38.

So if both incidents-reported from same address - happened at 14:35 why was battery not reported while 1st officer was there and why was 2nd police officer dispatched roughly 2 hours later to same address?

Why wasn't LH listed on missing persons report instead of RL if he was reportedly there since the missing and battery happened same time?

Could there be more neighbor videos?

Are the police reports jumbled together in error, or is it the norm to combine? Did the battery happen where it was reported or somewhere else?

Seems AR and RL were ok with each other at time of missing persons report filing?? No mention in report of her accusing him of disappearance. Per reports of babysitter, no baby ever arrived, but RL was the one supposed to deliver her there.

No mention of time RL left (or from where) to take baby to sitters nor when he met up with Amber, or if Motel 6 date happened on Friday or not. Could they have been called away from date by sitter, at the time neighbor reported seeing Amiah with mom? I'd like to know where Amber went and with whom after RL arrested? I'd love to see all "the usual suspects" phone records and transcripts from jail calls.

And finally, why, in more than one report is baby stated by IMPD as last seen Saturday? Are reporters using date of police report as time last seen or were the officers led to believe that? The reports aren't very detailed.

Heaven help me my brain is fried. I can't imagine all those involved behind the scenes...ugh, just ugh. I think we've all been conned and am praying lots more is unfolding behind the scenes which helps to bring Amiah home.
