KG, the father of Taylor's 4-year-old son, was part of the search Tuesday, and said he last exchanged texts with her late Saturday night when she told him she would be by in the morning to pick him up.

He said at the time she was out with friends at several bars in Valparaiso. He said her friends brought her home to her parents' house where she then insisted on leaving in her own vehicle.

"I just need answers. My son loves his mom," he said.

Taylor's family said she remains missing as of Tuesday and they believe there is foul play involved.

"Her bloody blue jean torn pants and allegedly Air Force Ones, it looked like my daughter was being chased off the expressway right there. I'm not even sure if she was driving," said QT. "I have a hunch of foul play. I can't speculate and put anything in perspective, but I can say foul play."

A body has been found not far from where police located the SUV of missing Gary mom Ariana Taylor.

Ariana Taylor's family was at the scene at 15th Avenue and Lake Street on Sunday evening.

Gary police confirmed officers were called to the area of 15th Avenue and Lake Street where a body was found in a grassy area. Identification hadn't been made as of Sunday evening, according to law enforcement.

Last week, Arianna Taylor's mother reported her missing after the SUV she was believed to have been driving was found after having crashed down an embankment along Interstate 65 near the border of Lake Station and Gary.

The body discovered Sunday was found about four miles away from where the crash occurred.

Certainly a lot of strangeness in this case, but I don't think there's any chance of foul play. We have a woman with a history of driving drunk who insisted on driving drunk and had a wreck. She likely had a head injury that caused her to wander away from the car. I believe she will be found nearby, as has been the case with nearly every single person missing from the scene of a wreck-and there are many.

I'm with you on this one. With the car going 80 mph down-hill, I'm wondering, was she able to "jump" out at some point and if she may be in another location nearby. Have the police stated that the clothes found were indeed hers?

Crazy enough, I had a family member who was highly intoxicated and wrecked a car in to some trees. He was thrown from the car. He was bleeding pretty heavily but still managed to make it 8 to 10 miles back to a family member's property. I have no idea how he did it but with loads of alcohol, head injury and adrenaline there's no telling how far she could have made it from the crash site.

I'm sure right now the family or anyone will come out and say she was definitely drinking and driving if she has open cases out there right now with those same charges. This is a strange case indeed. About the clothes though, were those she was actually missing when she went out that night. Sometime people carry changes of clothes in the car for them, especially girls that might go from work to after work places, etc.

The remains of Chicago-area missing mother Ariana Taylor have been identified by police after her body was found in a ditch in Gary, Indiana Wednesday morning, though questions remain.

In a press conference Wednesday, Gary Police Department Cmdr. Jack Hamady said the body was found at around in a "shallow drainage ditch" behind a fence at around 9 a.m. in the of 2100 block of Colorado Street amid a K9 search.

Do you know offhand where her car was found in relation to the body? I've only heard a mile north on 65 was where the car was found but no specifics other than that.

I've been trying to figure this out...Bear with me.

This article says: "[the vehicle] left a northbound lane of Interstate 65 at the 261-mile marker near the I-80 overpass"

Google maps doesn't have a street view of mile marker 261 (due to construction?) but I could get a street view of mile marker 260, which leads me to believe this was the area (note, my map pin is at the milepost, not the area her car left the road, which was on the right/east side of the roadway): Google Maps

The distance from the area her vehicle was found to 2800 Colorado Street/Bellaboo's Play Area is roughly about a mile.

I can't see where this drainage ditch travels in a northern direction past Bellaboo's, but it seems plausible that she was able to get out of the vehicle to try and find help, and wound up in the drainage ditch, and was either carried by water a mile south to this location, or was actually able to walk that far south before succumbing to her injuries.

Rest in peace to this young mother, condolences to her family and small child.

The hearing for the suspended license charge was supposed to be on April 1 with a Bench Trial in May. A plea agreement for the DWI was filed in late March. She has priors including driving without seatbelts. All of that in my opinion would likely indicate a vehicular crash while impaired or distracted, as opposed to foul play. The Office of the Lake County Coroner in Indiana released the preliminary cause of death for Ariana Taylor, the missing Chicago-area mother whose remains were found in a ditch Wednesday morning.

The coroner's office findings were consistent with trauma from a motor vehicle accident complicated with drowning, officials said in a release.

The manner of death was ruled an accident, while other results are pending, the office noted.

Taylor’s body was found Wednesday morning in a drainage ditch near Bellaboo’s Play and Discovery Center, at 2800 Colorado St., Gary police spokesman Jack Hamady told reporters.

That’s more than a mile south from where her vehicle was found crashed and empty on April 3 on the side of Interstate 65, police said.

Police initially said it was not possible that she had floated between locations.
