GARY, Ind. — Family of a Gary, Indiana man is asking for the public’s help after he was last seen a week ago.

***********
“We want him know if he is out there, we just want him to know that we love him and we just want him to come back home,” he said.

Campbell Jr is a father of four and a graduate of Thornridge High School who went on to the Army and developed a career in IT and real estate.

Family, friends and neighbors have performed a search of the area including looking into abandoned homes nearby. His phone has been searched too looking for anything out of the ordinary. .

The Campbells have filed a missing person’s report and a detective has been assigned.

Anyone with information is asked to call 219-881-1209.

GARY, Ind. — Loved ones continued searching on Saturday for Bremen Campbell, Jr., who has been missing for more than a week now.

“For us to not know where he is, text messages never go unanswered,” his sister Chloe said. “I’m just praying he makes it home safely.”

Bremen was last heard from on July 27. His dad is unsure where or why he left home.

“His license, his wallet, his keys and phone was on the table,” Bremen Campbell, Sr. said. “It’s a mystery. Nothing like this has ever happened before.

Family and friends started Saturday at his home on Monroe Lane in Gary and then went knocking door-to-door, asking neighbors if anyone had seen him.

“Actually a lot of people in this community know him so a lot of people are shocked, like, ‘Oh wow he was just here’ or ‘I just talked to him’ so everyone is coming together to search for him,” his daughter Bryana said.

The group passed out and hung up flyers.

Their search also included Mille Beach, Broadway Street and Grant Street.

Bryana said Gary Police Department officers have been searching abandoned buildings and dumpsters.

His children are worried sick for his safety.

“I love everything about him,” his son Jordan said. “He taught me a lot about life and it just don’t seem like real.”

It's likely unrelated in my opinion as it's a Small Claims Court matter (not criminal, a default judgment according to records less than $900), but if you look at the orders available for view for case 45D09-2211-SW-005766 there was a Court Order issued for Mr. Campbell to appear before the court on this matter next month. IN Gov website for the record search by name is: (it will auto-select all courts - that will work). Indiana Courts Case Search - MyCase

No mention of a vehicle but I'm thinking he must have one working "in IT and real estate." So, he's on foot? What is in walking distance from his home that he might head to early in the morning? MOO

There are several replies by his daughter BRS to a comment by MBS on the Gary police FB page. One of her replies addresses his vehicle.
