This is considered a Silver Alert because of a new law that went into effect on July 1. Silver Alerts can be issued for any child who is incapable of returning to their residence without assistance.

#UPDATE Police tell us Fauquher’s mother, Amy Jones, is missing as well, but there is not a Silver Alert for her because she is not considered to be in danger. At this time, only the child is considered in danger because of his medical needs.
