Anderson - Police have a home in Anderson surrounded after neighbors found a woman shot in the driveway.
It's happening at Charles and Scatterfield Streets. A SWAT team is attempting to negotiate with the man inside the home.

Anderson - A woman in Anderson was shot to death during a domestic dispute Wednesday. Police took her husband into custody after a long standoff. The woman's two young children were unharmed.
Police are trying to determine what caused 34-year-old Michael Allen Achenbach to shoot his wife, 34-year-old Cynthia Achenbach, in the driveway of his home. The couple did not live together and police are not sure if they were separated and going through divorce.

ANDERSON, Ind. -- A man fatally shot his wife in the head as her children watched Wednesday, then engaged in a two-hour standoff with police at his Anderson home before surrendering, authorities said.

Achenbach pleaded guilty but mentally ill Nov. 17, a day before jury selection was to begin in his murder trial...

An autopsy determined Cynthia suffered three shotgun wounds, two to the back of the head and another to her back.
