ELKHART — Elkhart Police are searching for a missing 52-year-old man.


Daniel Ardelean was reported missing Saturday afternoon. His family says he was last seen September 18.

Reports say family believed he was staying with another family member.

Ardelean is a white male, 5'9" tall and 220 lbs. with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt and glasses.

Police say he lives in Elkhart but may have traveled to Aurora, Illinois.

The Elkhart Police Department reported Thursday that Daniel Ardelean was found by the Aurora (Illinois) Police Department on Wednesday evening.
