Cindy Anthony said the same things on Nancy Grace the first week Caylee was missing, it was all me, me, me.

Do you really have 12 kids? I "only" have 5, lol.

I thought the same thing when I read she had 12... "Wow, I only have 5!"

Delano is such a beautiful child!!!

Per the video; Mom was at work when this happened, she just started two days ago.

Looking at this picture kills me. He is an adorable baby. It is hard for me to believe the father harmed him. I really hope not.

Could the "cover" in question refer to some sort of baby wearing device?

I wonder if they arrested the dad for leverage to check out his story. Rather than being a suspect, maybe they wanted to make sure that he wasn't leaving out information due to fear. Maybe they just wanted to question the parents separately and took advantage of the outstanding warrant.

While I understand the drug debt line of thinking, he was arrested on pot charges, not crack or heroin. I don't think you end up in the same kind of debt over marijuana. At least, it's much more difficult because there's not the same sort of massive physical illness associated with withdrawal. Also, at the risk of sounding glib, it's pot. It's legal in 2 states now recreationally. Plenty of good upstanding parents use marijuana as an alternative to alcohol, pain meds or psych meds.

(Yeah, I know. I'm a Pollyanna. I always look for the good in people. I've been called the most optimistic jaded person people have ever met. But for me, the jury is definitely still out.)

That's all true. However ,one way that peeps get in debt with pot dealers is they get several ounces 'fronted' to them, to sell. And then when its time to pay the piper, moneys been spent, weeds been smoked up.

If they tried to rob him... why leave his wallet? Or are we to believe they just wanted the baby? 2 people pull up, hop out to rob him... and spontaneously decide to leave the $$ and take the baby instead? Not buying it....

I bet someone is talking to the mother of his OTHER child right now- the one who is profoundly brain-damaged from repeated beatings and abuse as an infant.

Are there ANY witnesses or anyone who can back up the fathers story??

I'm going out on a limb and admitting that I do not believe his story what so ever. :(

I don't believe the father's account, but I've been wrong before.

Just sounds totally implausible that a stranger would kidnap an infant from the arms of a grown man.

His 911 call doesn't sound right either. And the mom's plea made me think she knows who took the baby and/or is covering for the father.

I hope I'm wrong on all counts and the precious baby is found unharmed.

I'm with you. I really hoped that when I logged on today we'd be down to something that makes a bit more sense.

Astounding in the 911 call that the robbery is mentioned first then the abduction.

That is what jumped out at me immediately. The "abduction" was kind of an afterthought after mentioning robbery and pistol whipped. In fairness though - when he mentioned he was robbed he might have been meaning to communicate that he was beaten.

It was really, humid and hot yesterday. I have not taken my 5 month on his daily walk because he starts to sweat when he is in his stroller/car seat.
Maybe dad took him on a walk while just holding him, he could have been using the alley to take the baby on a short walk if he was fussy or something. Personally I never leave the house without a blanket for the baby even if it is hot outside, the weather has been crazy these past 2 weeks and we have had rain and stuff.

Ugh, dont really know what to think if IMPD arresting him for MJ the night his soon is kidnapped....

The reports in this thread said he was walking around the block holding the baby for an hour ...

None that I've read about in any of the msm articles. I was really hoping for some good news this morning but in literally *every* article I've read (and on FB) almost no one believes the story being told. :(

So Wilson had marijuana on him at the time he was robbed? That makes me think he didn't stage the abduction. He had an active warrant for marijuana and he would have known LE would search and/or interview him after he reported the crime, so the last thing he'd want to do would be to make a false report while carrying more marijuana.

On the other hand, if his son was kidnapped he no doubt would have called police right away without worrying about a small amount of marijuana he might have or whether he had a warrant out.

Trying to stay within TOS...if something terrible happened and you had to cover your tracks right quick, I don't think a possession charge would deter you from your plan. Does that come out right?

I don't know. I hope they find this poor baby alive and well, but I'm just not feelin' it :(
