I agree! It resembles a smile and it makes me furious to look at him.

It reminds me of someone trying to suppress a nervous giggle. Like the best he can do to keep himself from bursting out laughing is that smile. And it is in more than one photo.

I am starting to think maybe dad is trying to pin it on mom, like last time??

(Who really knows?)

I'm starting to think that, too. Then I read this...

“The mother was the primary caregiver,” Oliver said. “The father was always working. In her testimony, she said the father was never with the infant alone.”

Deputies never figured out exactly when the abuse happened.

Doctors said the injuries were in various stages of healing, which means the abuse had been ongoing and repeated.

That makes it seem like they would have charged him had mom not alibied him out.

OK, this, THIS, is the thing I wanted to say and feared to say. You lose ONE infant with one parent, OK, that could be tragically bad luck, you lose ANOTHER one with a different parent??? I just.....I know officially both he and the mother are still victims and WS is a victim-friendly site. But, damn. :(

The first baby survived her injuries. She has permanent damage and the mother is incarcerated. Presumably dad was exonerated, so I am not sure we should be discussing that case in conjunction with this one although it is difficult not to.

And how did he manage to mix up his story so fast. The man was WHITE, the WOMAN was hispanic. But he was his baby being carried away by a hispanic man. Or more precisely, THE hispanic male.

I think that could be a msm mistake. I can't bring myself to listen to the 911 call..... can anyone confirm if this is an msm mistake or did dad actually mistakingly say hispanic male?

Well, that statement ignores the glaring fact that dad was alone with the infant at least once-the night he disappeared. And isn't that the only time that really matters?

They were talking about WW's daughter and how that childs mother alibied him out. Not WW never being alone with Delano.

And there are still no witnesses who saw WW walking with Delano during the hour prior to the alleged abduction... How can anyone be walking in a neighborhood for an hour and not be seen by a single person?

The article is referring to the daughter Wilson had that was abused, not to baby Delano. The mother is serving time for abuse, and said Wilson did not abuse the little girl, stating he worked a lot and was never left alone with her.

I did not know about the search warrant until just now. Oh boy :(

I see Dad was arrested on a marijuana charge last night. I'm not going to jump to conclusions, as it could be that LE feels like most everyone and is suspicious of his story. They want to hold him on a minor charge in order to put a little pressure on him to see if he cracks.

I'm curious about something. Delano was said to be in a "cover" when he was taken. What the heck does that mean? I understand it was hot and humid yesterday, so what kind of cover do they mean? A blanket?
I have a four month old granddaughter. We've never taken her out (to town) when she wasn't either in her car seat, or the seat was in the stroller if we were doing a lot of walking. Maybe they did not have a stroller, but in my State you can't leave the hospital with the baby unless you have a car seat, and they will give you one if you can't afford one. This aspect bothers me more than the description of the perps.

Poor Taniasha, she is beside herself. I've looked at a few family facebook pages. This young couple has a lot of family support, they were not out there doing parenthood alone. Which makes this story even sadder, IMO.

If the hospital issued a car seat, I'd assume that, if they have a car at all, mom used it to get to work, and the seat would be installed in it. I don't know why the father going out for a stroll would put a 16 pound baby in a 10 pound car seat and then attempt to carry it down the street. At that age, carrying my daughter was what i did, and eventually I put her in a snugli carrier to free up my hands. Even a stroller. But what makes you think he should be carrying the baby in a car seat?

Does anyone understand why Willie initially says he is on Harding & Blackchase (hard to understand, but I think he says blackchase). Then operator says Harding and what? He answers Oliver. Then further says I am laying in the street off Oliver, at Henry?

LE is now searching at Harding & Oliver. That area while not far from Henry, is a 6 minute walk (per google man). What do you guys think is going on here?

I think he says "Harding and Chase" which is the corner Mom was interviewed, and they live on Chase (I think).

Two cell phones? Hmm. What does one need two phones for? "business" and personal?

Drug deal gone bad?

Honestly, if he was doing a drug deal in an alley practically next to his home, I think he'd leave the baby at home alone for the couple of minutes it would take. That isn't good parenting, but probably better than taking your infant into an alley to sell drugs.

I've listened to his 911 call several times. He said a lot of contradictory things in it (such as, where he actually was) but he never did say it was a white guy then change it to a hispanic guy. That came from a msm article and I think that was just a mixup on their part.

My hunch - pure speculation - is that the hour WW was "walking around the alley with the baby" is really the time he spent hiding/disposing of the baby.

I don't think the mom is involved, but she had a feeling early on what had happened. I'm sure she knew about his daughter, and perhaps family members had expressed worry to her about him as a caregiver to a newborn. She might be in denial, she might be protecting him, but I do think she has thoughts about his involvement.

JMO, all speculation. I hope the truth comes out quickly.

I suspect they do not have a car, which may explain why WW was out walking. (no mention of a vehicle in any of the initial articles, or in the newer search warrant articles)
I suspect WW does not have a job, which may explain why WW was out walking around at noon on a weekday. (Although he could work nights, part time, etc.)
I suspect that precious baby passed and was disposed of (I really hated typing that) long before Wednesday either accidentally or intentionally and for whatever reason, WW decided to fabricate a story about a white guy & hispanic woman, to deflect any suspicion away from him and/or Delano's mom.
I suspect LE will find evidence of this in the home, if they haven't already... possibly even baby Delano on the property somewhere.
After watching the first emotional plea of the mom for the umpteenth time, she appears more to be grieving the loss of her baby instead of expressing the shock of him being abducted. The same way many people do when someone dies and they lash out at God and say "why!?" and then ask all those painful questions.

Just sharing some observations and speculating while we wait to hear more. All MOO and all that stuff.

Yes x 100000! Another sitting at the "he's trying to pin it on her" theory.

Sent from my not so humble opinion.

I'm mobile, so can't check Twitter. Can someone else check to see if there are pics of the house search or any case updates?

Search warrant serve at 10pm last night? That in itself is interesting. I know they are saying it was routine but I do not believe that at all.

No, me either. They had a judge sign a search warrant at 9:30 pm on a holiday. If it was just procedure, why didn't they wait until 8am Tuesday?
