He may have other children, this is a new baby. imo.

ETA: honestly, his audio sounds more convincing than Mom's plea.

I dont know what to think.

They have the 911 audio now: [url]http://fox59.com/2014/08/28/bloodhounds-and-search-crews-continue-to-look-for-baby-boy-at-center-of-amber-alert/

After listening to the audio, I don't think dad had anything to do with it.

I've never been the victim of a mugging/robbery or had my baby kidnapped but it still seems weird to me he'd first say his "daughter" then change it to son. Not to mention, he's not freaking out AT ALL. What parent who just went thru what he's saying he just went through, sounds that calm?

And he sounds either bored or incredibly baked out if his mind. "Yeah, uh, I was robbed and uh someone took my daughter. I mean son. I'm laying in the street".

Where is the yelling? The panic? The stress? And I don't buy a head injury for one second because he very vividly describes the "robbers". He doesn't sound like he's in any pain or confused.

I've ordered pizza with more enthusiasm.

I am from Indy and lived on the south side not far from that area. It is not the nicest.

Did you guys hear that weird retching noise when the operator put him on hold? Was that him vomiting, clearing his throat? Sounded weird.

As I suspected, he could describe the sneakers because they were a popular brand.

The mistake of saying daughter then son as well as his flat affect make me even more convinced he really was hit in the head. He's having trouble following the conversation. Sounds like a head injury and shock to me.

I don't know. My daughter had a boyfriend who lied constantly. What made his lies hard to detect at times was because of the appropriate detail he would add. I finally figured out the more detailed he got, the more likely it was he was lying.

Yeah, but he also told 911 he was naked. "What are you wearing?" "Nothing" and then he proceeds to describe his clothing.

Ugh! They removed most of the audio because it contained contact info for dad so I cannot go back and listen. I know he was trying to respond to the dispatcher on the phone and to what seems like bystanders but I did not catch that (what I get for listening and reading at the same time). I am still on the fence with this one.

Guys! Willie was questioned once in the death of a child with another girlfriend? That girlfriend went to prison for murdering the child? Did you all hear that?

Cameras in the alley caught nothing?

Wow! That does not sound good!

Some people just don't emotionally react initially in emergency situations. Or their emotional reactions seem inappropriate to others. It's like part of their brain shuts down until everything that needs to be done is done and then they flip. It's almost a form of autopilot. Emotions are kept at bay until what needs to be done is handled.

I can get it to work still.
