At the time of the alleged kidnapping, when Wilson was taking the baby for a walk, it was 31C (87F).

Baby was wearing a onesie, which I understand is a short-sleeved t-shirt with snaps. There is no mention of a hat or any protection from the sun. Do people take their babies for walks at high noon on hot days?

I thought WW said something about a cover for the baby. It's possible that cover was to protect Delano from the sun.

Although, I don't recall much more about the cover, and while it is possible it was to protect him from the sun, I don't believe that is why he had a cover.

I wonder if this means LE thinks the best information they can get right now will come from the interview room and NOT on the street with a search.

Well said, my thoughts exactly!

I realize this could be nothing, just a coincidence, etc., but I couldn't help but notice yesterday as me and google guy went up and down Oliver, Henry, Harding, Chase and all the alleys in between, this blue 4-door car parked about 2 seconds away from the Wilson residence, at the house on the corner to the entrance to the alley. I'm not even sure it's a Taurus but it certainly looks very close based on a google image search of a blue, 4-door Taurus.

I think that looks like a grand am. The Taurus doesn't have that kind of molding around the car.

Yeah and another thing, I don't think we've seen another picture of him, right? By that age, I had no less than three hundred pics of my little dude between my parents, my husband, and myself.

There have been more than a single photo of Delano in various MSM articles. There is also a very pregnant picture of mom and dad. Links upthread.

My hubby has a similar car and at first glance I thought it was a Pontiac as well, but then I thought, if a person doesn't know that much about cars (and many don't) they might easily mistake it for another make/model (maybe one they are familiar with?)

I think most males are familiar with make and models of cars. I wouldn't believe WW is not familiar with makes and models of cars.

Oddly enough, if you take another look there is also another small, blue 4-door car parked directly across the street from the Wilson residence. Never even noticed that until right now. I can't tell what make/model but it looks quite similar to the one parked down the street at the alley entrance.

All this says to me though, is that this type of small-ish, 4-door blue car is not uncommon in that neighborhood.

I think that is a dodge intrepid. Or the sister Chrysler model.

Well if you had been knocked out, he could also be mistaken about the make of car. A blue Taurus might look like a Pontiac Grand Am?

A light skinned black might look like a white wearing a du rag?

A black might look like a Hispanic wearing a green top and matching earrings.

For me, WW gave too many details to have been knocked out or even dazed! Also, I believe he purposely mixed up "details" as to not blame his own race! That jumped off the page at me immediately! Remember Susan Smith, who gave the description of a black man having carjacked her? Even LE commented that the combo WW named was an unusual mixture - paraphrasing here.

Did the parents take a polygraph?
Do the parents own a car?
Does WW have a job? If so, who was going to keep baby?
Did WW meet with sketch artist?
Have any tips been called in on this case?

How can one be robbed and nothing taken? Oh, he meant baby! Wrong use of words - purposely?
Pistol whipped - no signs of bodily injury? Dazed, unconscious - his words?

By breaking the components down, looking at it with untrained eyes, to me it is easy to see the case as presented is a figment of WW's imagination! Now WW, where is your beautiful baby boy? I cannot call him your son as it is obvious he was not wanted by you. Is Mom in on it too?

My opinions only!

]I think most males are familiar with make and models[/B] of cars. I wouldn't believe WW is not familiar with makes and models of cars.

OT-Cubby I'm going to poke fun at you--is this really true? I think it sounds like saying "most females are familiar with brands and models of food processors."

Now, in my own little family, your statement rings true. My nine year old can spot a make and model from 1/2 block away. My daughter and I can name flowers. Lol

Does this couple have a vehicle? One or two?
I may have missed it but did WW have a vehicle to use that day?
Curious how the mom got to work. Wondering if WW dropped her off, if she drove and had vehicle in her possession or if someone took her to work.
So many questions but the most pressing one is where is this beautiful baby!

Wonder why we haven't seen sketches to ID the kidnapping duo?

Because everyone knows they don't exist. JMO.

Probably would be expecting too much for a reporter to ask LE or the family that question.....

I wouldn't assume most males are, or aren't, I just know a lot of people that couldn't tell you the make/model if they were pressed to do so because they just don't care enough about cars.

Either way, I just listened to the 911 call again and WW doesn't actually say it WAS a Taurus, he said "it looked like a Taurus". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rHQo8JyGh0 I know the Amber Alert specifically said it was a Taurus but that isn't what WW said when he first called 911. Then again, he also said he was in 3 different places when he first called, so that doesn't mean much.

Way too many holes in this story.

Among many other things, this one item just isn't adding up for me.

WW says the baby was abducted when he was pistol whipped in the alley of the 1400 block of Henry St. (see pic below)
In that 911 call, WW tells dispatch the car was headed toward Oliver.
MSM reported "A neighbor said she saw a car matching the description of the Taurus pull out of an alley and drive away around noon Wednesday. Moments later, she said, she saw Wilson stagger out of the same alley and collapse. "Then all the cop cars showed up," said Christine Richey." http://www.wvec.com/news/Mother-pleads-for-return-of-abducted-baby-273035791.html
WW gives dispatch 3 locations as to where he is, but finally says "Harding and Henry".

So if the witness saw the car pull out of the alley and drive away, THEN saw WW stagger out of the SAME alley and eventually collapse at Harding and Henry where all the cop cars showed up, there's no way the car was headed toward Oliver, as WW initially stated. It had to have exited the alley on Henry.

1400 block of Henry stops at Coffey St. After that the house numbers are in the 1300's.

#1 the alley were the attack allegedly took place
#2 where Henry meets up with Harding, where WW finally said he was
#3 Oliver, where he says the car was headed

In my opinion these are the two main points that put my hinky meter in the red zone:

911 call – Description of what abductors were wearing sounds scripted. Details sound rehearsed. Despite so many details about clothing, there is nothing about physical attributes of either the man or women, except race.

News footage of Mom – Her face shows no signs of actually being in distress. No swollen or puffy eyes from crying.

# 1 concern –
There has been no independent verification to when the baby was physically last seen by someone other than mother or father.

As a gear girl, I understand your protestation of Cubby's gender assumptions, however, statistically, it is true. More guys I know care about cars obsessively than woman. Doesn't mean we're not out there, but he's just playing the odds. Plus, a Taurus is a pretty common middle of the road car and almost everyone I know has a good friend who has had one. Really common cars, Tauruses (Tauri?), Jettas, Accords, most people who know cars, know those.

I totally get what you were saying though. :)

Has it been stated where the 10K came from in terms of the family offering it as a reward?

Of course this is just MOO, speculation and all that, but I think it's entirely possible a man and a woman matching that very description were seen in the area recently (or on tv, or in a video), along with a blue, older 2000-2003 four-door car that looked like a Taurus (that may or may not have even been theirs, or a Taurus at all, or connected to them in any way) that actually did exit the alley just before WW did, acting all "oh I just got pistol whipped and knocked out, and had my baby abducted... here, let me stagger down the street and lay down in the middle of it" and it was a handy line to feed 911.

Again, all MOO.

Has anyone looked at local newspapers to see if there are birth announcements listed? I'm starting down that route, but if someone has already done that I don't want to waste my time.
