“He came to my grandma’s house on Sunday, wasn’t himself and she told him, you know, that he needed to go get help and he left and there hasn’t been a sign of him since,” says Alexis Westfall, Donald Westfall’s daughter. Donald Westfall Junior has been missing for over a week. His daughter says a missing persons report was filed on Wednesday, the day after Spencer County Sheriff’s office found his van on the side of county road 150 East, between 900 and 1,000 North in Chrisney, Indiana. “We think he’s in some kind of danger just because his bank account hasn’t been touched and then his van was on the side of the road in a ditch and the battery was stripped out.”

Alexis says her father has a history of drug abuse and suffers from a deteriorating genetic disorder. “He was clean for the last 6 to 8 months. He’s been doing great. He enrolled himself in a recovery place. He was choosing to stay there and then we don’t know if he relapsed over the weekend. We are really unsure right now. He does have Hunington’s pretty bad so we are kind of concerned for that.”

Donnie Westfall was last seen June 26 on surveillance video in Warrick County. The video came from a gas station in Boonville. His van was found early the next day on a back road in Chrisney.

His family continues to fight to find answers and make sure his name isn’t forgotten.

Cold Case: Foul Play Suspected in Disappearance of Donald Westfall Jr. - 44News | Evansville, IN

Donald Westfall Jr. was reported missing in June of 2018 and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain a mystery. He was last seen in Warrick County and was captured on surveillance video at a convenience store, but what happened after he left is question Indiana State Police investigators are still trying to answer.

When Westfall was reported missing his family knew something was gravely wrong. His case is now labeled “missing under suspicious circumstances” but Westfall’s family says his disappearance likely has to do with the company he kept.

Cassi Meyer, Westfall’s cousin, says, “We know that on June 26th, 2018 Donnie was at the Circle K in Boonville, Indiana.”

“We believe 100 percent that he was murdered in a different spot from where he is currently things have led us to believe that we don’t have any confirmation from state police in regards to that that is solely our opinion but I don’t think where he was murdered is where he is now,” says Meyer.

We need your help
Who is willing to line Main Street up in front of the courthouse with pictures and posters of Donnie on Saturday June 26th @ 10:00am?! It will have been 3 years since Donnie went missing. While we have our own theories of what happened that night, and in the early morning hours of those days justice still has not prevailed. He deserves to be found, and he deserves justice! No individual regardless of their history or past deserves to go missing/or murdered.
We are hopeful that some news crews will come to this, and help us keep Donnie's name out there for the public to see as well.

1. What type of Huntington Disease symptoms did Donnie have/show?
2. What was his drug of choice prior to becoming clean?
3. How was his recovery coming along in the weeks and days prior to him vanishing?
4. Was he using on the day he disappeared?
5. What was Donnie's behavior like that made the family describe him as "wasn't himself" when he was at grandma's house?
6. Grandma suggested Donnie needed to get "help". What type of help did she mean (e.g., medical, psychological, financial, other)?
7. What was Donnie's attitude and disposition when he left grandma's house? Was he sad and depressed, angry, happy, excited, anxious, sickly, worried, other?
8. Did police process his van for evidence (i.e., DNA, fingerprints, blood, hair, fibers, etc.)?
9. Besides the battery being removed, was the van drivable?
10. Were any of Donnie's belongings in the van?
11. Did it appear the van was burglarized? Vandalized? Anything out of the ordinary?
12. Did Donnie know anyone in the area where his van was located?
13. Did Donnie know anyone who has a connection to someone else in the area his van was located?
14. Was Donnie a regular customer at the Circle K in Boonville where he was last seen on video?
15. Why was Donnie in Boonville?
16. Where did you search and why there?

18. Why does the family believe Donnie's disappearance likely has to do with the company he kept.

It's been 3 years since Westfall Jr. was reported missing and C. M., Westfall's cousins, said their family wants answers and they're asking the community for help. "I just need the publics' help and just listening for any talk and any information that may be crucial to this case," said M.

"He may have had a past that wasn't the best but he just doesn't vanish from his family. His family is where he was always," said M. ETA - Tim Corbett, who is the PI investigating Donald Westfall's disappearance, will be live on FB tonight. The family encourages everyone to watch and to submit questions. They promise they "aren't holding back" stating that the PI "will be harsh, he will state facts, and he will tell you just as he sees it. If you can't take it don't tune in." Apparently they plan to identify people they believe are involved. Should be an interesting watch, imo. MOO
