IMPD: Missing 10-year-old Indianapolis boy was found and is safe

Police began the search for the boy around Fletcher and State avenues.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 10-year-old boy from Indy's near east side.

Donnie Dearinger was last seen on Wednesday, June 11 in the 1700 block of Fletcher Avenue, near South State and English avenues.

Dearinger is described as being around 4’11” with brown hair and eyes.

IMPD Missing Persons detectives are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 10-year-old boy last seen in the 1700 block of Fletcher Avenue on Wednesday.

Although it is not believed that Donnie is in immediate danger or in need of medical attention, he was alone when he was last spotted.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says a 10-year-old boy who had been reported missing from Indy's near east side Wednesday has been found and is safe.

The boy had been seen on Wednesday, June 11 in the 1700 block of Fletcher Avenue, near South State and English avenues. Police said he wasn't believed to be immediate danger but was alone last time he was seen.
