Indiana couple whose baby died after ingesting meth arrested, charged with neglect: police

A couple whose baby died after ingesting methamphetamine has been arrested and charged with neglect, according to state police.

Deven G. Frisque, 32, and Tara L. Savage, 28, from Madison, Indiana, were arrested and charged this week following the death of their 3-month-old son, Eben Frisque, who passed away of “acute methamphetamine ingestion,” in July, an autopsy revealed, according to WTVM-News.

Both Frisque and Savage used meth while caring for Eben and another child who was also living with them at the time, Indiana State Police said. The latter child has not been identified, and their condition is unclear.

From your link:
In interviews with Frisque and Savage, law enforcement learned the child had been sleeping on a sectional couch with them at least a few evenings leading up to July 15.

They told officers they had been up most of the night from July 14 into July 15 because Savage was ill.

Savage and Frisque both said there were better places for the infant to sleep, but explained “his bassinet needed cleaning and (Eben) didn’t like to be placed in the playpen.”

I guess they'll never get any money donated on their 🤬🤬🤬 now but I sincerely hope they get the maximum prison sentences allowed. Another preventable death brought to you by two stupid, selfish people who should not be caring for babies. I'm pissed. Again.
