The following explains in great detail Emma’s story and answers a lot of questions, especially why she is believed to be in great danger.
Poor kid. Prayers for this courageous family.

This makes me so sad and angry. This poor girl never really had a chance, being born to neglectful deadbeats and being shipped from home to home every few months. I am not in the least bit surprised she has mental health issues, and predators would have a field day grooming her online. I really hope she is alive, but my fear after all this time is that she is not. :-(

Is there a way around the pay wall?

I wasn't able to read it on Chrome. I tried it on a different browser (Edge) and was able to read it.
I tried again, after the 3rd time I got in. Perseverance!

I read her story when she first went missing, this one was more informative. The thing that stood out in both was how much they love Ella and want her home. Ella was at an impossible age, their Family Service's made it so much worse. The system needs to be gutted.

Reading this, my first thought was this is the way to lose good foster parents. Not in the least surprised they resigned. Not quit! This was done to them. DCF should’ve paid all of their legal fees. All of the mental health care. I hope Ella turns up, I’m afraid after so much time she won’t. The adults who she told she was 18 should’ve charged, no way did she look like she was 18.

The system really failed Ella & the entire Saylor family! Her parents were so dedicated to keeping her safe, only for her to be taken away from them wrongfully by the state, and then subsequently go missing

This is a really informative & well written update. Thank you for sharing

This article is so heartbreaking, we need to do better for these children. And for the foster parents, I have a friend who gave up fostering because of a lack of support. Terrible. Ella, come home please!
I keep wondering how many more children are out there? And where is she? She just vanished and that's it?
