The insurance company must not have been local, IMO. I wonder what the payout ended up being.

According to documents submitted as part of the investigation, a policy was written on August 31, 2016, for the home Rose and her children were living in. The policy had liability coverage for the “dwelling” in the amount of $392,882 and went into effect on September 15. A home appraisal was also included in those documents, dated September 10, showing the home appraised for a value of just $45,000.

With all the headlines going to the Delphi murders this case seems to be lost and gone cold. Consider this a bump.
Thank you. For some reason, this case has never been hot like Delphi. Four beautiful little children burned up in an intentionally set fire should also be an outrage, too.

Right in town and no one caught on camera?
MOO

Yes. MOO Carter is basic. Thinks woman's boyfriend or something similar. Wont look at anything else.

Won’t look at anything else, won’t make a trip to California where the mother moved, won’t cut the initials of four girls who perished in the fire on his desk, won’t give multiple interviews about them, won’t make a podcast nor ask people to contribute into the reward fund. Granted, arson cases and fire cases are difficult to explore, so there may be realistic difficulties, but still, it needs to be done.

I think everyone knows why he didnt.

Another sad anniversary. The arsonist responsible for the deaths of these children still walks free.
MOO

Walks free. Is a danger to others. We don’t know what is the true motive for the crime. The second (after the most obvious) explanation could be that the man is a true pyromaniac. There have been quite a number of house fires in Carrol county. ISP needs to reactivate the case.

He said he didn't believe they (meaning the arsonist) intended to kill the girls. He believes it was intended to be some type of message, although he didn't know what that message was.

I wonder what makes him think that.

JMO: an arson of an old house has a very high potential of killing the tenants. I don't think one needs to go that far with any threat. It needs to be investigated, DC...

In order for that theory to make sense, the arsonist(s) would have had to have thought nobody was home. Or at least not the 4 kids. IMO

The next door neighbor is a dometic violence guy, son of the landlord. Anyway who trusts these police to even follow up correctly.
Carter out there his weeping and manic act bothers me.

I totally agree with you. I wonder if that's the guy mentioned here:
[snips}
Mike Vergon, a former ATF fire investigator had been inside the home and created a report investigating the fire as part of an ongoing wrongful death lawsuit against the building’s owners.

Part of his report mentioned a next-door neighbor who rushed into the house the night of the fire before police or fire officials arrived. The neighbor was attempting to save the four girls before the smoke pushed him back.
