Family of missing Indiana teen seeks public’s help in locating her

The family of a northwest Indiana teen missing since Wednesday is seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.

Fourteen-year-old Gabriella “Gabby” Allison was last seen at her home in the area of Grand Boulevard Lake in Lake Station, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 25, 2017. It is believed she may be in the company of an older man, possibly named “John”.

I never thought I would have to post something like this, but please if you see this girl, please call the police. She ran away from home sometime last night. My world is falling apart. Please keep your eyes open for her. Please.... Forgot to add this information: Her name is Gabriella Allison, she is 14 years old. She's 5'2". She left from Lake Station near Grand Blvd. Lake. She could be anywhere so please watch out for her!!!! If you see her please call 911 or the Lake Station Police 962-8511 and ask for Det. Brian Williams.

Your daughter is so lovely, you must be out of your mind with worry!

Please answer these questions if you can:

1. Does she have her cell phone?
2. Has it been pinged?
3. Where did she meet John or how do you think they are affiliated? What makes you suspect they are together, and is there reason to believe he is actually dangerous or is he perhaps a normal guy who may not realize how young she is?
4. Has she talked about going to anime conventions recently and is it something you would never let her do? I see she is very into that stuff and there are a few going on right now or soon:

Gabriella is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 119 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She often dyes her hair different colors

Gabriella was last seen wearing black leggings, a pink tank top with the words "Sleeping Beauty," a charcoal gray hoodie and black combat boots.
