- APPEARANCES CONTINUED: Jay Raman, Deputy District Attorney; Anna Clark, Deputy Public Defender; Lisa Rodriguez, Specialty Court Coordinator; De'Janique Williams, Public Defender Social Worker; all present. Deft. present in custody. CONFERENCE AT THE BENCH. COURT NOTED, at the last 7/9/25 hearing, it was determined the deft. was incompetent based on Dr. Piasecki and Chapple-Love based on Calvin evidence, and the Deft. was ordered to Lakes or Stein, for further restoration to competency. COURT FURTHER NOTED, it had ordered new evaluations to be done; however, ADVISED it can no longer do that based upon the Price decision; therefore, ORDERED, the Deft. is to REMAIN on the list and this matter is OFF CALENDAR. Mr. Raman argued the Deft. was sent to Lakes / Stein and the Deft. has been found competent, noting competency was fluid; therefore, objected and argued in support of the Deft. proceeding to trial as she had been found competent. COURT FURTHER ORDERED, Deft. is TO BE SENT to Lakes/Stein and REMAIN on the list. CUSTODY
