I was wondering that myself. In some of the photos Drew is wearing a jacket that looks quite a lot like one of the Zeroxposur Systems jackets, and Stacy is the kind of athletic young woman they aim at.

There's quite a lot of evidence that she was removed from the house in a blue barrel, but that doesn't mean she was buried in it. He might have buried her separately and then thrown the barrel away.

There is also a "romantix" store less than a quarter mile away from Polekatz. If you google map the address 9148 Melton Road, Gary, IN (address of polekatz) you can see a sand dunes area just north on 20.

Definitely a possibility of a truck driver scenario. Both of those truck stops, the TA and the Flying J are full of undesirable activity. In fact I always referred to them as rat holes and that is being nice. If you look at the map very easy for a rig to park on the back row to go and dispose of her and most of us always carried shovels.

A detective told me over the phone a few days ago that the victim was likely a blonde female Caucasian. He said that he could not provide any info on approximate age, height, or weight. I asked him whether it was an adult or child, and he said that he didn't know.

GARY -- Skeletal remains found Monday evening, buried in a sand dune on Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park property, suggest a "petite" person, but investigators on Tuesday were not ready to say more.

Whats telling is that the jacket was a size small.

Philpot's spokesman provided the following description of clothing found near the remains: a size small white surgical-type scrub shirt, a light blue Zeroxposure-brand jacket with white stripes down the sleeves, a white bra, dark underwear with glitter and blue jeans. No shoes were found near the bones.

Investigators speculate the bones have been there at least several months.

If it wasn't for the hair color I would say Mary Lands would be a possibility. She was from Marshall MI, which is just over 2 hours away. Mary had dark hair.. She was supposedly seen last in a leather jacket but her boyfriend was caught trying to sell the leather jacket at a flea market shortly after she went missing. Mary was last seen in a video at a gas station wearing a scrub top. She went missing 3/04.

I was thinking this over last night but it could be a mens small (I thought it was the scrub shirt that was small not the jacket) . A petitie skeleton does not necessarily mean a skinny person, just short (typically under 5'3 IIRC).

I agree -- I don't think there's any way a 5'6", 160 lb. woman could be described as petite, or wear a size small top, even a men's small...but the circumstances fit rather well.

Still not in NAMUS, I will keep checking. I didn't see any new news articles today, I wonder if they have a possible ID. I would really like a picure of the jacket, would be easier to narrow the year/season.
