Gerald Legan, 80, and his wife, Rhonda, were both killed in the crash. Another woman was transported to Indianapolis in serious condition and two others suffered minor injuries in the crash.

According to his probable cause, Williams is also the suspect in a hit-and-run crash where a dump truck rear-ended another vehicle and then drove away three hours prior to the deadly crash. The driver in the second vehicle was not injured, but police say Williams' truck matches the description and model of the one involved in that crash.

The suppression hearing was rescheduled; at least the PTC and trial are still on track. It will be almost 3 years since the accident by the time he goes to trial. IMO he needs to be in prison for what he did, instead of running out his time in the Hendricks Co. jail.

There have been quite a few filings lately, I'm posting them in case anyone is curious about how a trial progresses. Maybe it will actually go to trial this time. The first group of filings pertains to his [suspected] earlier wreck that day when he drove away. What a shame the cops weren't able to find him in the 3 hours between accidents.

IMO, he has put the families and the injured victim through enough. I don't know how he lives with himself.
