He's a scum bag, every bit of him!

I agree, I saw a video or heard a sound clip maybe where I felt it was worded very strangely if they do indeed have their guy. Something like "we will prosecute the person responsible, if we have the right person".

I really wonder where you read this. IMO, that is a really remarkable statement!
"if we have the right person." :notgood:

I was trying to find it today and couldnt.. I believe someone posted a video or link to a video on this thread the day IH was in court, and I was listening to it while driving.. I swear it was the prosecutor and now I can find parts of what I listened to that day but not the specific line I'm looking for..

Ugn, so it sounds like he owed his dad money and he murdered Halee to try to get it.

Wow! IH was in big trouble with someone. Even reading the PC affidavit, I don't get how he goes from robbing her to murder. Especially when she was giving him money? IMO it sounds like he wants to talk to his lawyer about protection in prison before he talks about anyone else involved.

Full article from ECP about the release of the PC affidavit. If you like legal procedure, or were curious about why ECP filed the motion to unseal the affidavit, this is interesting:

"The Evansville Courier & Press filed a motion to unseal the affidavit because there was no public hearing as required by Indiana law before most public records can be sealed."

The Prosecutor today explained why he asked for the information to be sealed, and why he's releasing it now: "
"At the time of the arrest, there were several matters pertaining to this case which were still actively being investigated. In the interest of public safety, we had requested that the probable cause affidavit be sealed until such time as certain matters could be established," Perry wrote. "I have never intentionally mislead or refused to release information, as I fully believe in the protections of the First Amendment, and ultimately, in the public's right to know what government agencies are doing on its behalf."

I'm not sure I believe him when he says she allowed him to write checks on her account.

Here's the timeline we have so far:

11:11pm: text from IH's dad to IH asking about money
11:29pm: IH sends text to HR's phone thanking her - he admits he had her phone all night
5:10am: IH seen on video surveillance at HR apartment
~7:30am: IH left $210 on counter for his father

I think this puts HR's murder before 11:29pm. What was IH doing during the time he left the soccer fields and 5:10am? Did he stay there, or immediately left?

I don't believe his story about the checks either, one was returned for insufficient funds, and I don't believe him about the two concert tickets.

I think she refused to give any more money and he got mad.

And after he killed her he went to find the concert tickets so he could sell them? Wow. JMO

Agreed, I thought I read he owed her money previously. On social media early on someone posted "this better not be about those concert tickets."

Yes, and I think he spent the night going through her stuff at her apartment. I wonder what else is missing.

What I want to know is why he was carrying a gun.

It's kind of amazing how many of the rumors turned out to be true. The tickets as well as the towel and dad's gun,

I never saw the rumors but the curious thing is he brought the towel & gun from home to meet up with her. So, this was planned.

http://www.courierpress.com/story/n...it-rathgeber-slaying-case-released/101334480/

"Hagan contacted the Warrick County Sheriff's Office on the evening of April 24 and stated he had driven Rathgeber to the Newburgh Lock and Dam. He said she gave him $200 that she owed him."

What do you bet he had a message from the Sheriff. Time to call an attorney but he talked and the dominoes fell. Too bad she ever met him.
