Thanks. I didn't know they weren't allowed to do that. So they probably took him out behind the gas station for privacy? I wonder if there was an unlocked side door?The undercover officers had an inmate with them at the time. I don’t believe they are permitted to escort an inmate to a public access facility like a grocery store or gas station. So they had to come up with the next best thing. But it does strike me as odd that this happening was coincidental, especially considering two days later, one of the UC officers got into a confrontation with a paraplegic man at a strip club.
Did we ever hear more about the informant?
