Well LE has confirmed that it was an accidental drowning and that she was trying to catch a dog who also drowned. So that's that. It is now fact.

Watts' autopsy, completed Monday, revealed she accidentally drowned, according to the Bartholomew County Coroner's Office.

Thank you. I am glad it was nothing nefarious, but I feel very bad about the loss of this compassionate person. May her memory be for a blessing.

Drowning, pending toxicology

Accident.

(I have no reason to suspect anything in the toxicology, but the coroner wrote that)

looking at that big rock in the distance.... water isn't high but there were plenty of hazards there for sure by the dam

So how high was the water that Friday and why didn't the news conference say anything about how she drowned.... so sad.
