I'd recommend going to his Facebook, if it's still there (pointer should be in an earlier post here) and study the photos and videos he posted. Lots of really interesting stuff. That was what made me think he would be a possibility for both Lyric and Lizzie and Libby and Abby, possibly others.

The possible differences in MO are interesting, to be sure, but we don't have a lot of information about how Abby and Libby died. Maybe something about it made him decide to move inside this time. We don't know where he would have left this girl if he had had time to complete his crime. Personally, I don't think he thinks or plans that much.

In the beginning, I wasn’t quite convinced that JBC was the BG, but once he was charged with luring that nine year old girl into his home and attacking her, that sealed it for me. I believe he is responsible for both of those unsolved cases. It’s as if after four plus years, he couldn’t control himself any longer and grabbed an easy target, the little girl next door. IMO

I don't know if everyone saw the video he had where he lays around watching his neighbothood through a window and encourages his dog to "see the kitty." i.e. inciting his dog to be a cat killer.

Have you also looked at GK from Nicole Bowen case? He is a dead ringer, tons of ties to property, and everyone. His FB was full of stuff too, including brown hoodie etc.

I hope that link works, I'm on my phone. I found a review he left for a covered bridge in Roann. That shocked me because: 1. That little bridge is visible from my aunt's house 2. I was born and raised in the same places as him and I had never heard of that bridge until I saw it in 2019 3. Roann is a bit of a drive from the Kokomo area (about 45 miles; little farther than Delphi, which is about 40 miles). That bridge in Roann is much more obscure and unknown than the Monon High Bridge.

The comments about different MOs in this case & in Delphi are interesting to me ….. imo I don’t see them as very different.

In each case he spotted preteen girls going about their business nearby , directed them toward a more isolated spot (his home, “down the hill”)……

& immediately upon isolation unleashed a grotesquely over-the-top violent attack that was aimed at killing them (he admitted in his pleading that he’d intended to kill the 9-yo)……

apparently not dissuaded by how easily he might be connected to the crime scene (public park where anyone could’ve seen him; his home)…..

IMO a different MO would be Delphi murders and EG robbery of a grown man…. or other attack on someone remotely near his size / strength / age….. even a home invasion, where he’d sought out a victim (rather than just bumming around & spotting a child he thought he could exploit) and there was at least the potential of finding something of value to steal…..

yes!! Amazing that she even survived the vicious attack by this murderous beast. Hopefully she’s recovered &, with the love of her family, is growing past her nightmare encounter with true evil.

Photos on his Facebook appear to confirm that he did in fact camp out under or near bridges. I thought some of them looked like they could have been Deer Creek.

Though I did track a couple of the photos that he posted as his to public-domain sites (some of the Florida beach vacation photos, for instance). I take anything he posted there with a grain of salt.

While I think JC is very likely to be BG, I can't rule out GK from the Bowen case either. The thing that upsets me about that is that there are two such horrific killers in such close proximity.

Bolded by me - this prosecutor (Harrington) is Tippecanoe County, not Carroll County, so if he didn't discuss the Delphi case with anyone, as he says in this video, then that would be proper IMO. He's not going to be prosecuting the Delphi case should it ever come to trial and he shouldn't know anything about it to discuss, if protocols have been followed.

I'm going to put it out there that I honestly don't think JBC is the bridge guy, I really hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.
I'm just relieved this is locked up and will probably never be free, thankfully the little girl survived and he is going to get a hefty sentence to reflect his disgusting behaviour.
If he is BG I'll be delighted, I just have a feeling he is a dead end re the Delphi murders and think there are other more viable POI's.
The fact they've took on the rental of another building says to me they're in it for the long haul-they've had a good few months now to rip Chadwell's life apart and to check his phone / computers / alibi / DNA / house / previous employers / previous relationships / search history / Google reviews / boot size / tattoos etc. I think if he was the bridge guy we'd have had a bit of an inkling by now tbh.

Indeed. This little girl is more than remarkable.

We haven't been there when she probably wakes screaming. Or can't sleep. Plus there's visible scars to remind her. Unlike our hidden scars that can lead to a lifetime of big time confusion.

However he don't get to win. With surely her therapy and support and if each of us weather it be prayer, a wish, positive energy, just a good thought towards her she got this.

@taylorss we know she can live a "normal" life. Plus someone or something was watching over her.
