Found Deceased IN - Jason Underwood, 37, Attica, 25 April 2016

Jason Allen Underwood, 37, was reported missing on April 25. Officers say he is presumed to be on a boat on the Wabash River. Underwood’s vehicle and boat trailer were discovered at the Attica boat ramp on the Wabash River. His boat is described to be a 15 foot 1979 Smoker-Craft. The registration number displayed on the boat is IN1111BH.

Officers have been actively searching the Wabash River by boat and foot since Underwood was reported missing. They’ve searched the Wabash River from the SR234 Bridge to the Granville boat ramp. The Vermillion River was also searched in its entirety, extending to the Illinois State line.

Officials also report Underwood has exhibited suicidal tendencies before.

If a boat matching the description or a person matching the photo is located, please do not approach for your own safety, it is unknown whether Mr. Underwood is mentally stable.
