I had Julie's youngest in my classroom a few yrs after she disappeared. It saddens me to think there is still no closure.

I cannot say or remember in regards to the oldest child of Julie’s. However, I find it so incredibly sad to read the article where it talks about how Julie sang to her children. Not only do the three youngest have her smile, but they all sang and danced. They carry so much of her and she loved them more than life. She would have never given up on them. She would have NEVER given up on them or went through life pretending they didn’t exist. Julie would have advocated for truth. She would have fought for them with her life and just maybe she did. The darkness always comes to light. Julie’s legacy will always be a positive one, but when the darkness does come to light, what kind of legacy will be left by those that didn’t treat her with the same love Julie would have? How will they be perceived? It’s truly heartbreaking.

Just got off the phone with my mom. She's going to talk to H and B Dalton to see if they want to give DNA samples. I imagine they're going to be made aware of this thread.

She also reminded me that the police found Julie's purse, car keys and some of her clothes in her husband's van. My dad told me the same thing a while ago except they were in a locked box inside the van.

I can't imagine how he wasn't charged if that's accurate.

Found without warrant means evidence not usable.
