There was a warrant out for his arrest but they didn't find him until after he murdered her. I thought: "If only they had found him sooner." But, all too often, if a person is intent on killing someone, there is almost no stopping them.

While I was reading through the links I posted, I saw Alan Matheney on the list of executed. That was the first domestic murder that I was aware of. I lived in the neighboring county and it was on tv a lot. He beat Lisa Bianco to death with a long gun so hard it broke the wooden stock, in the daytime, in the middle of the street, in front of the children and neighbors.

He smirked into the cameras every time he had a court appearance. Until the last one before he went to meet his maker. I don't know why some people are so filled with hatred that they will give up everything they have for revenge.

Oh wow, what a horrible story. She must have been terrified in her last moments. To think she was never notified - or obviously she wouldn’t have been there. But now I know the origin of the purple ribbons so thank you for this and I’ll think of Lisa the next time I see one.

In all these years, I never forgot her name.

It was inexcusable, IMO, that they failed to notify her. With that said, even when they do what they can, sometimes it just isn't enough. Sadly.
