She was reported missing in 1982 after leaving home to seek treatment for a substance abuse problem. She was last seen 'in the Chicago area' but her body washed ashore on Lake Erie. Classified as a homicide.

Wow, another case from the 80's like Nancy Jo's where someone was reported missing in the same region (Chicago/Michigan/Lake Erie), a body had been found, and clearly no one was paying attention. So sad and unnecessary to put families through this agony. COMMUNICATION!!!
